Currently sitting at $320-million worldwide,and it's been out ten days. I agree with you on your assessment, but they're on track to make $600-million in initial release which is pretty good. I predict once they release it on streaming in October it will rapidly surpass $1-billion. This will rank it up there with the most profitable third of Marvel movies, which is _amazing_ during the pandemic.

I'll be curious to see how this plays out. It's very much the kind of thing that could be _huge_ there, if it's allowed to be seen.

Watched it 3 times, already each time to show it to different friends, and still going one last time to show it to my sister (THE one person I should have bring to begin with). Yes, it is that good ! This movie is not just spectacular and entertaining but has also been made with a lot of heart and it shows. It is also more deeply layered than most people would believe at first sight. Easily one of the best MCU origins stories, and probably one of the top 5-10 MCU movies, period.

Finally our theatres are open & I got to see this today! Granted it'll be out on Disney+ later this week or next, but it was so worth chucking on the face mask & watching this on the big screen. What a fantastic film! I can't wait to watch it again on Disney +. The cast were friggin' awesome! The mythical animals were stunning. I buzzed out when I saw the 9-tail fox creatures. The only thing I'd change would be... if I could have been a bus passenger 😆.

Shangchi only really beats ragnorak in the fighting and action category. Overall comedy and story was wayy better in thor ragnorak. As much as i like shangchi, it just didnt do enough in the story and character build up and comedy. They picked the right actors and best martial arts fights and great cgi but overall did not beat thor imo. Thor is 9/10 and shangchi 8.5/10
