@daveb94028 років тому
No one could beat him in telling lies. Jobs was only choosing companies for comparison that still did not announce new hardware for 2001. Hardware like the Compaq Evo N160 was way better compared to the iBook, thinner and everything was a "yes" and still "yes" when there was everywhere a big "no' for the iBook at a way higher price. Reminds me when he announced the Pro Mouse as if it was the worlds first in 2000... first modern optical mouse was released in 1999 by Microsoft (IntelliMouse) and prototypes were even made in early 1980s.

Steve Jobs in 2001: "Some manufacturers take out their optical drives. We think we need an optical drive in our notebooks." Apple 2020: Nah, the Ipad Pro doesn't need a headphone jack.
@falcon7594 роки тому
But it doesn't need one because these days we have great-sounding Bluetooth headphones, and if you really want to use wired headphones with a portable device, then buy an adapter. I don't think that's very comparable to a 2001 notebook lacking an optical drive. First of all, I'm not sure, but external optical drives may not have been readily available or may have been very expensive, and secondly, they would surely not have been nearly as portable as modern ones and I'm not sure if they would have been BUS-powered, which means you would need to plug into external power. So basically, portable users without optical drives in 2001 would have to simply do without, whereas 2020 iPad Pro users can easily use Bluetooth or wired headphones if they so desire.

Color accuracy for visual professional? This is not my field but what i know is it's color accurate have the only little issue to be a bit to bright and contrasted wich can be good or bad depending on your optinion the thing is Apple is in competition with itself by it's close system and what they are looking for now is more to attracked by service and small devices iPhone and Ipad than with their laptop line up.
