Another excellent well presented and consistent review. I was looking at these and the Pixel Buds A. But then last week for 24hours only Sennheiser here in the UK had a 50% off offer on selected products. Picked up the MTW2 for just £139.....too good an offer to give up....and so far so good...👍🏽

Watched the vid using my CX400BT's. I love these things. Fantastic sound quality is the one thing Sennheiser will never compromise on. When I saw that the CX TW was coming out, I was pretty excited but then I wondered if it would be worth upgrading from my 400BT. I think you helped answer that. The sound quality is (should be) the same but you are getting a few smaller differences that should be notable so yeah, they're probably worth the 30 extra dollars. But then there's the MTW2... tempting.

I'd wait for discounts on the MTW2 if you really need ANC. We've seen them drop as low as $189 recently. Some expect them to drop to $150 at some point.

Yes. H1 has high volume but I would choose Sennheiser for sound quality over H1.

Thanks for putting these through their paces. Kind of confused about lack of ambient sound and wireless charging in a lot of buds. At this time it seems like it should be a given. I expect them to sound good, but not amazing, so features need to take up the slack.

Man, I truly appreciate your videos. I am a person with extreme visual limitation in the way you break things down help me in my mind Earbuds. A couple of questions. My three go twos right now or first off my job or elite 75T because that boom just makes my day. The back up if you’re just listening to podcasts are the EARFUN free just because I wanted to try them out and I found out I liked them. The only high-end truly wireless I own are being an old Susan and probably the biggest letdown I have had on earbuds as of yet. That being said where do the CX fall in those categories? For years are used wired Sennheiser and sure earbuds. Thank you in advance for your help I really want to get back to Sennheiser I just don’t want to spend a big bunch of money and be let down but I was on the bee and owes. There is a Astros to those Verizon had them on sale for 150 so I didn’t take that bad of a beating. Thank you and I appreciate all your hard work I apologize for any grammatical errors as the speech to text isn’t the best. LOL

The CX are similar to the 75t but with smoother sound. Not much of an upgrade between them.

Just got these. At first a little too bass heavy for my taste but an eq adjustment fixed that and the sound is bangin'. Sennheiser is proven audio purveyors and these don't disappoint.

I just got the new CX buds and the biggest thing I enjoy is the great sound quality and less lag with these on Android with Bluetooth 5.2. It is a noticable difference VS the Momentum 2 TWS buds. That is on Android you don't have that problem on iOS with the Momentum 2 TWS buds with lag in videos. So I really enjoy the CX buds while watching videos and movies. Great review!

Thanks for the review! First one I’ve seen with a comparison with CX400BT. I got the CX400BT for $80. I have small ears, the CX400BT do fit but stick out really bad. Replaced the tips with spinfits just so it’ll be more secure.

Good video! Detailed, and to the point. Agree mostly on everything except the Sound Quality ranking (personal choice of course) Beats Studio Buds would be last. The Mids on those are almost non-existent or just pushed back, with Treble and Bass bumped up. The Bass is more controlled this time around on the Beats Studio but with that said in my opinion...the Galaxy Buds Pro are just superior in every way! The fit and comfort will obviously play a big factor. Love your content!

I got the Edifier Neobuds Pro sound quality and anc x ambient (ambient is not better than Life q30) is terrific but, honestly I'm quite struggling with the battery life., Should I buy the Liberty 3 Pro or Sennheiser momentum 2 or the Sony? . Great video there's a lot of people that f*** their hearing up by listening to music too loud I recommend if you want to listen to your music really loud either get a Bluetooth speaker or play it in your car. I've never tried sennheisers before but I hear they're really great

Awesome video man! I want to ask u a question, I'm stuck at these options right now; Beats Studio buds Sennheiser cx tws JBL club pro plus Jabra elite 4 active JBL Tour pro+ I'm listening at full volume and I love bass. I mostly listening hip-hop music and im working out at gym everyday. Also I will be using these earbuds with my m1 MacBook Pro to listen course records at my university's cafe so I don't want to hear distractive sounds. Which one u recommend man?

Great review as always. I have my CX400BT, got them for 99 Eur. I am very happy. I don't feel happy paying more than 120 $ or Eur for earbuds. There is a huge ammount of fine earbuds in this rank. I am thinking about the Galaxy Buds Pro. Soon, they will go within my limit :) Happy sunday, Jefe!

Great Review! I would like to see how it performs compared to WF-1000XM4. I know Sony is twice the price, but curious how it sounds compared to the Sony. Personally I don't mind not having ANC or ambient sound. I'm more interested in the sound quality and the call quality

Sennheiser Momentum TW2 or Sony WF-1000MX4 Awesome videos bro! Love the in depth and concise info. I really like the music recommendations for sound tests...my go to is anything Fleetwood Mac, but Dreams and The Chain do the trick every time. Outkast and 40 fa sho! You often ask the question "what do we look for in headphones" and my top 2 traits are ambient/transparent mode (so I can listen at work without ignoring coworkers) and sound quality. This has me torn between Sennheiser Momentum TW2 and Sony WF-1000MX4. Is either app noticeably better than the other? It seems like Sennheiser Momentum is in a class by itself when it comes to sound quality, but can you make a recommendation based on ambient mode? Thank you for all you do, bossman!

I'm not exactly looking for gaming tws, but I am curious what you'd recommend for that use case. I think the qcy T5 is pretty good with its gaming mode, but the battery life is too short if you're on voice chat. The Tribit c1 could benefit from a gaming mode, the latency is almost there, but still too high for ranked codm.

So you can use the CX to example have right earbud to be synced with your phone, and left to be synced to your PC? This is how I have my Cambridge Melomania and I really like it. Using different BT units for L and R that is. I guess you can also explain it as both L and R acts as a master?

great video I jumped on the Sennheiser momentum 2's after watching your comparison vid between sony XM4's and it and you didnt let me down....but for me the reason I went Sennheiser over the sony's is because the sonys hurt my ears--maybe because i have smaller ear canals but the sonys hurt after 30 minutes of use--i remember you commenting on someone's video that said the same thing--if it wasnt for the pain i would love the sony's...but if you got smaller ear canals the Sennheiser momentum 2's are the way to go trust me

I had a set of the older Sennheiser CX400 earphones. Two pairs in fact as the first set developed an issue where there was no sound from the left ear piece. Replaced them in store. The same thing has just happened with the replacement pair! Probably out of warranty now. I was wondering if I should take a chance on Sennheiser again? They do sound great and the CX are great value. I would go for the ANC version. But I'm put off because of the problems I've had. Will get the cheaper CX I think and hopefully I don't get the same issues as with my previous two sets of CX400's ;-)
