Ok, so this is a very simple tutorial.But you will learn how to make the ATTINY shield for Arduino, how to burn the bootloader of 8MHz and how to program the ATTINY. Also, how to use the 433MHz modules and create a very simple radio controller, maybe for toy cars. Thank you!

bro when i program attiny85 with uno it showing error yenkie double check the connection please help me i changed jumper wire twice and attiny85 also but same error

1. check you have uno loaded the example of ArduinoISP loaded into uno 2. make sure you have attiny board json link in preferences and that you select the correct board. (sometimes I run 1mhz internal sometimes 8mhz internal, thats just my preference) 3. Make sure you then select Arduino as ISP. 4. many of the attiny's I bought did not have boat loaded on it. So burn boot loader to your preference. 5. if the boat loader works, then next is compile see if you have it everything working correctly. 6. then load your program on to attiny85 If all that above does not help, then double check wiring: Do you have the 10uf cap on ground and reset. as well as (physical pin numbers) Arduino +5V ---> ATtiny Pin 8 Arduino Ground ---> ATtiny Pin 4 Arduino Pin 10 ---> ATtiny Pin 1 Arduino Pin 11 ---> ATtiny Pin 5 Arduino Pin 12 ---> ATtiny Pin 6 Arduino Pin 13 ---> ATtiny Pin 7 Sherm

I used the attiny85 with the rc-switch library and those transmitter/receivers without any problem. You can even use a standard fixed code remote fob.

How did you get the receiving part running? When i try it, i dont get anything with the AtTiny85. It only worked mit an Arduino. Transmitting worked flawlessly

Hi! I like your simple remote control, but I was wondering if you could tell me how would I put a simple protection in to the code, so it doesn't messes with the receiver if I would to have 2 of the transmitters and press a button on both at the same time. Thank you very much and best regards!

Can you do the Rx with the INT0 external interrupt? If so. What is the maximum external interrupt per second the 8mhz Attiny85 microchip can handle?

Why not usbasp? And avrdude? You could simply write the fuses and use avr-gcc to create a more pleasant and smaller size code.

Why would you create a guide for ATtiny85 where IDE 1.0.5 has to be installed? This version is outdated, and same goes for the attiny core files you provide. What you rather would do is to download the latest version of Arduino IDE (1.8.7 at the moment), and install ATTinyCore by SpenceKonde or attiny by Damellis. attiny by Damellis uses the core files that's bundled with the IDE. This means the core files will be up to date again every time you update to the latest IDE. ATTinyCore by DrAzzy has its own core files where the code is more optimized for ATtinys, has better library support and more features in general. However it's much more advanced than attiny by Damellis which IMO is a good thing

I understand why this attiny code doesnt work. Because some of the arduino functions were not imported to attiny boards through arduino ide. The solution is to write the same protocol by yourself. This won't be too hard, it is a simple library.

Not sure why you had issue with the newest version of the Arduino IDE and the Attiny. Suggest you use Spence Konde wonderful Attinycore for the IDE. github.com/SpenceKonde/ATTinyCore. Also "burning the bootloader" on an Attiny only sets the fuses, it doesn't actually load a bootloader.
