When I was stationed at Ft Wainwright for 3 yrs I would spend many hours out just sitting in car watching North Lights for hours, this was back in the mid to late 1970s!

I am planning to take my youngest son to Chena Hot Springs around Christmas 2023 when he comes back home. He just left on deployment with the Marines today. Please be thankful to have your boys with you. They grow up so fast and then you can’t protect them anymore.

Beautiful Northern Lights. That is #1 on My Bucket List but being handicapped now somewhat I doubt I will ever see them. I loved the Ice Sculptures. I have watched Somers in Alaska and Violet Logs for a long time. My husband and I took a cruise to Alaska years ago in September 2010 and I loved the clean air smell. The weather was beautiful. We went to Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway. Thank you for the showing the Chino Springs too.

WOW loved all the places you 2 went...talk about crammed a lot in........loved the Northern Lights...we have seen the Aurora Australis (Southern Lights) lots of times ...but would just love the see the Aurora Borealis..some day...thats on my bucket list.......Luna was funny your case is a road map...been lots of places she wont go.........loved ya tour of the Ice Sculpturs...they are sooo talented.........love ya ...have a lovely rest & catch up

in europe we also have a santa claus village in finland lapland .... when i was still a driver i went there a few times and there you also saw the northern lights .... thanks for the nice videos.... greetings from The Netherlands

You got to see the Northern Lights twice!! How fantastic are the photos, though, that the tour company took 👍 I loved Santa's house, never too old for a little Christmas magic. The ice carvings, even though incomplete just seeing how it's done, are amazing. I loved every single moment of this trip. ❤️

The Northern lights were so beautiful!!! Everything you did looked so fun and interesting! We have been getting some Northern Lights here in Saskatchewan which isn't unusual but it is in my area! I haven't had the chance to go see any because I get up so earlier for work!

We spent a week in Fairbanks last July. If you ever get a chance to go up during the summer, do the Discovery boat tour on the Chena River and go eat at the Pump House. It’s so funny that we hit every spot that you did on your visit, except for the ice obviously. Glad you had a great time with your sister and got to see the northern lights.

Glad you made it to the North Pole. Shame you couldn't get some warm tops from Melissa while there. They don't disappoint keeping you comfy in the cold temperatures. What s super few days, you had. And the best was seeing the beautiful Aurora Borealis! I love the Santa Clause House. We stopped there, after Delta Junction, coming in from the Yukon, heading towards Fairbanks on our 2nd visit, a bazillion years ago...when the Santa Clause house was smaller. what a fantastic stuffs you have showed us about fairbanks and find really interesting and beautiful there.:: i came close of coming to fairbanks ways back in 2008 but i ended up getting sick and didn’t go to fairbanks from washington state.: so ill have another opportunity to do so soon to make trip to fairbanks one of my longtime goals
