I was looking for this comment. I haven’t seen anything Tony Leung has been in so I wasn’t sure about him and he didn’t show up in anything so I didn’t know how interested he was in this project but he does seem quite nice seeing this I just watched Shang chi and Tony Leung is a legend and one of my favourite marvel villains

Hi life is an acting Shonen. He's the blue Oni to Stephen Chows red Oni. Both with hidden powers to succeed in show business. Both losing their fathers and being outcasts for it. Stephen convinces Tony to sign up for TVB auditions because Stephen needed company. Tony get's the gig and Stephen doesn't. Tony showing a surprising natural talent for dramatics. Stephen goes on a redemption arc and find his comedy gifts. Then a 3 decades of arcs happens and Tony is the undisputed greatest actor in Hong Kong and Stephen Chow is the undisputed master of Hong Kong action comedy.

Since it's his first time with an American team it's probably a slight culture shock at the loose-ness of it. Film in China/HK & Asia are quite strict in terms of rank and seniority and I bet absolutely nobody has called him just "Tony" or even "Tony Leung" for that matter on a set for probably ...decades. He'd have an honorific to his name due to status. Might be weird to hear it after being so used to it for years. Not that he probadly didn't enjoy it, but also doesn't know how to act.

Just saw the Movie today (already OUT in France) and yeah Shang-Chi & Katy are so cool , this movie has the best fight sequence of the MCU by far , Xialing will become a new favorite and I can't wait to see Shang-chi in the future of the MCU !!!! (the first Post credit scene OMG )

Because Tony Leung's legendary status is overwhelming 🙂 He's been playing kungfu movies&series before the rest of the main casts were born.

I think it’s a combination of the lighting and him being shy and not feeling comfortable with answering the questions, he might’ve been contorting his face a little due to how uncomfortable he was

The beauty of makeup, cinematography, and camera operators eh haha He looks fantastic for his age tho. But yeah as someone that’s trained on digital cameras, I can personally confirm that we can make you guys looks a certain way on camera with the right tricks and tools. And editing of course
