My initial and very recent interaction with the litefighter company has been very good. I contacted them regarding the litefighter one, which I purchased in new condition from someone who had been issued the tent but never used it. I received a very professional reply the next business day asking for a few more details of what the issue was. I was having an issue with one of the rainfly tabs, which I figured was probably not a common issue for this company. Jonathan from litefighter agreed that this issue was in fact an anomaly and asked me to send it in to have it looked over and repaired by their seamstress free of charge. My personal interactions with this company so far has led me to believe that they are very professional and will stand behind their products. Thank you for your videos, information and great reviews that led me to find this tent in the first place.

Litefighter tents rock !!! I bought my Litefighter 1 based on your review and test videos and I could not be happier with my decision to purchase. I can think of only one con to these tents and that is the price. These tents are expensive as so many people have pointed out , but to my way of thinking good things don't come cheap and cheap things don't come good, you get what you pay for. There is no doubt in my mind that this tent will out last me.

You know those people out there who look down on anyone who buys an other than Apple phone…… I’m that guy except I love my snugpak products. I have 3 ponchos, 3 tents, 3 blankets, 1 bag, and a partridge in a pear tree. I know I over paid for my snugpak 1 person tent, but I trust the brand. In ‘24, I got my snugpak for 240$…. I didn’t realize this was 3 years old…. I love yer channel but my wife hates it…… I don’t camp but I have thousands of dollars of camping equipment you tested but I don’t use….. but just in case 😁👍🇺🇸

Great video, thank you! I love my 1 person light fighter tent. It’s my favorite surplus tent. I like it better than my TCOP and my ICS tents! I plan on buying the 4 season conversion for it soon thanks to the video you made on that.

I love that top-loading bag design. One of the advantages is you will never be fighting against air trapped in the bottom of the bag like you sometimes have to do with an end-loading sack, especially if the fit is a bit on the tight side.

Looks like a really great tent! I wish they made pop-ups this good. I have the old Coleman pop-up but I have to use my tarp with it since it doesn't have a vestibule.

Good to see (in my view) positive progression and direction with Litefighter tents. This one appears to trace similar lineages... however departs somewhat taking big step up in set-up/take-down fly-first design, shelter versatility, more demanding conditions reliability, and venting features. Looks like no availability at present, so I added a email notification on their site. Here at Alaska Raft Connection, I'm always on the lookout for 'soldier-proofed' dependability and simplicity that can survive outfitting and renting camp gear for remote fly-out destinations. I look forward to your overnight video... hopefully it's howling out and snowing sideways.

That's a buy it now! Multiple X pattern with the poles so it will hold up to very strong wind and snow. Definitely a win!

The litefighter 1 is an awesome tent I’ve got many trips in. This one is super sexy and not terribly heavy for a two man tent. Might need to buy one and try it out for myself 😉

Eureka Mountain Pass 2 is $320 at 5 lbs 9 oz. I was in the military. The military gear is definitely built for durability and not minimum weight. A lot of people are attracted to military stuff, but it is overkill in most cases.

Sierra designs made two integral fly tents in the 70's that were designed with built in seatbacks, incredible ventilation for hot and/or humid conditions, and snow shedding. They were called the Octadome and the Airflex. They were killed off mainly(I believe) because as US made tents, they became too expensive to compete with those sourced offshore. You should try to see if you can find them metioned online, and check out the details. ps. I have yet to see many true 4 season tents, almost all seem to lean towards cold or dry weather use, like the one you highlighted here. I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work!

I have the same tent, use all the time for field exercises, especially on my rotations to europe

I have the one person lite fighter, love it best tent I've ever owned. Well my Cabelas Alaknak with wood stove is the best. But way to much work for a night or two.

I can set up my MSR Hubba Hubba also without the inner or ground sheet. But's that pretty cool with the inner already integrated.

Nice tent Luke👌 The three season version is nice as well. Somewhat expensive but buy once, cry once. Easy set up, adaptable and not "hot pink"... Waiting for the honest, real life use review. Thanks.

Do love the camo

They could easily add another rainfly that goes over the frame poles like most tents to give you the option of having a three wall tent for when it is very cold. They could make it white or a snow camo on one side of it as well to blend in with snow, and multicam on the other side. That would make it even more versatile. If you don't need the extra warmth or snow camo, you can just leave the extra rainfly at home to save on weight and space. I think it would be a good option to have.

Look into the military TCOP tent. Tent,combat, one person. Usually under $300. and often on sale around $210. A four season, single person, two doors and vestibules in woodland and reverses to coyote. Black out material and "unissued" at colemans military surplus.

Got a Litefighter1 and the TuffSack to carry it in, got to say it's a bit pricey, especially when I add in the shipping to the UK. That being said it's an awesome little tent and I love it. It's my admin base when out on exercise in the field, way better than a basha that's for sure. Looking at this one, well it looks just as good and the extra size would-be useful as well as the 4 season capability - better start saving the pennies I suppose. Keep up the awesome work Luke. Looks like a quality slightly over built tent. Nice for rugged areas and places where the weather can be nasty, like mountains or coastal areas.A bit heavy for most people backpacking but since you can remove the floor and ground sheet it may be more manageable.

Thats how a tent is suposed to be ! It's easy to make it a more lightweight setup.

An awesome ten for horse or lama packers. Wealthy hunters have guides out west who use horses and lamas to carry heavy gear like this.

I love that tent it's not in Teletubby colors either I love to have a four season tent and that one seems to be the one I want thank you so much.

Seems like a lot of set up and weight for backpacking but maybe for shorter trips where there is risk for heavy weather it would be good.

@TheOutdoorGearReview, a concern i would have with this tent is like you mentioned in a previous video... how will those exposed poles act when coated in freezing rain? that spider pole system could be a pain if you had to thaw it out first before packing up. what is your thoughts on this Luke?
