I seen one at horseshoe lake Kentucky on a trail in heavily wooded trail that ran beside the lake to our campsite and I was only 11yrs old and last thing I was thinking was grabbing a camera your so terrified you freeze up and your heartbeat feels like its beating out of your chest

That's the second time I've heard that story about the emaciated and sick bigfoot in the Wayne National Forest at Lake Vesuvius. The area itself in the Lake Vesuvius Recreation Area, not far north of the borders between Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia is fantastic habitat for a Sasquatch. The Ohio park has many rock formations and caves, and plenty of forested area and water to take advantage of. Hunting in Ohio has been a very normal pastime, with people coming from out of state for Deer hunting, and Turkey when in season, plus other small game. All in all, a fairly ideal place for Sasquatch. But, with the Sasquatch in this encounter being sick, it leaves you with a complex decision to make. You can feed the Sasquatch, and habituate it to human camp sites and local homes, with a probability of conflict, or sadly leave it to hopefully but doubtfully recover on it's own. It seems that the emotionally charged response would be to somehow lure the Sasquatch deeper into a more secluded part of the wilderness and set up a feeding station, with the hope's that the Sasquatch only associates you with food, and not other humans. Then with patience, glean some sort of diagnostic information on the Sasquatches health, whether promising or a unworkable prognosis. Unfortunately, not a realist proposition, fraught with peril, and perhaps unwanted in the first place. Leaving only the much less emotionally satisfying , but probably more recommended response of leaving the issue to sort itself. From what has been written of other living creatures survival rates in the wild, the outcome is not statistically stacked in the Sasquatches favor. Its existence is predicated on being healthy enough to forage and hunt for sustenance. Generally, in good weather and out of the winter season, the lack of body mass on an adult Sasquatch spells trouble.

I do have a question. Why does this writer switch from metric measurements to standard? For example if I said that the m16 rifle is accurate to 460m which is 500yds this story was told in US

That last story was detailed to the point u became involved and could feal his fear. Would b really hard to not believe. If it is made up he should become a writer. I’m 71 living in a rural area and have never seen anything but I’m not a person that says they do not exist. Been so many examples. Keep the stories coming.

I've never seen one, but I have smelled something and while hunting with my husband in Taylor basin, I heard something that could not have been any animal up there. I believe they are out there, and I hope they are not an endangered species. I believe this earth will be brought back to global paradise-like conditions, otherwise what kind of inheritance would the meek receive when the time comes. We learn that at that time mankind will live in peace with each other and all the living creatures of the earth, so I'm not saying they will be family pets, but maybe they will lose their distrust of man. I tease my friends and tell them that our resident sasquatch might even help with the gardening... ;-D

There is no way on Gods green earth the hunter in the last story could give that kind of detail from that distance. I have hunted for 30 years and am a former sharp shooter in the marine corps. No way he could tell with that scope that kind of details. Not saying he didn’t see something but not with that detail
