Can tray on a roll what? Introducing the Rollatray cable tray from Metpro - initially designed for installation under raised flooring. However, we think it's excellent for installing cable on flat horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Paired with our favourite toy, the Spit 40E electricians' nailer, it makes for a fast electrical installation.

Using narrow metallic pull-tension straps to hold electrical cabling, which would be under strain from the bends and curved, just doesn't appeal to this particular old school wireman. Cable jacketing under tension (or compression) against the narrow metal strap is a cut jacket in development. Give it time..... Will avoid discussion of cable type and jacketing, or use of conduit. Agree with other commenter that it's better suited for (industrial strength?) pegboard.

Been behind some muppet who just clipped off the metal cable ties with cutters leaving a short razor sharp tail sticking out, even normal work gloves got cut to ribbons. That correct tail trimming tool is brilliant.

How do you make a hanging tray out of that? Is it a wall installation only?

I figured it was the uk or In europe they called it cable tray that's a cable ziptie rack of some kind also the reason we use pipe is to protect the wire from getting hit by equipment and cable tray is usually up in the ceiling or in a tunnel where equipment isn't going to be running around to damage the wire even though this is a great idea maybe there is hardware that can hold the wire a little more delicately than stainless cable ties also would make a great support system for pipe I've talked myself into liking it

We have something similar to this but doesn't need a backer at work on the ceiling, I wrecked that shit with the forklift mast.

Looks like a solution in search of a problem. In the time it took to attach the tray to wall you could have just screwed or stapled the cable to the wall.

I'm not sure where you from if it gets cold or not but have you tried this application when the room is cold and so is the wire. Or is this for installs that's are finished with heat. I'm an electrician in Michigan I've just never seen it. But it looks like it would be nice using this stuff.

I could see this being very useful on larg industrial projects with many cables. Personally I'm a DAS tech and I've built out many headends that would have taken much less time managing cables with this.
