Carpathian mountains region where our ancestors lived is the furthest westward from Zaporozhia, and this is actually the first time I hear a testimony about Lemko being a Cossack. That's cool to know. On other hand, Lemko people used to travel far away from home to earn for living - like going to Canada or USA in XIX century. So it should not be surprising to find them in Zaporozhia or Altai :)
