V was the first to embrace both of his sides good and bad, he waited for all of them to catch up embrace both side to be able to reach their heaven. Namjoon like Noah guiding them. Both V and JK had the chris symbolism, with V lying down with his hand spread and bent up leg and stuff acting like the crown behind him, but he isn't really pure good cause and it shows with that smirk... he kept the girl (same from the make it right MV) blindfolded till all evil was iver them he removed the blindfold. And the ink on his nick looks like the poison from The Maze Runner, the poison that makes them remember their life before entering the maze (he remembers the timelines). Jk on the other hand looks like running from prison (might me omelas) and actually dies as it shown with the fall down and eyes closing to open again in a different barren land and a crow eating his corpse, yet he is resurrected and loses the handcuffs to blast the horn. Also the dove that died at the beginning was resurrected again so that might be Jin travelling in time and it might explain the whole different eras.

Noah's ark. That is when Noah ordered the Raven to look for the land and did not come back because it found food. And the dove that Jin holds might be the same dove that Noah ordered after knowing that the crow disobey his orders

Remember the scene where Jin is surrounded by empty cages? -The bird represents Jungkook -Jin is still stuck in time travelling -Each empty cage is a failed attempt to keep Jungkook safe. -Until Jin realizes he just needs to set Jungkook free (at the scene where BTS met except for JK and Jin set the bird free.)

9:34 remember a few months back how all of us were speculating the name of the album and debating it would be ‘shadow’ or ‘ego’, but bighit and BTS clowned us by naming the album 7? As Celeste said in the video, in order for individuation to take place, the ego and shadow are no longer separated.. hence the album was neither named ego or shadow, but 7 as the seven of them have finally realised their true self and also seven members, seven years.. and the persona is balanced out, hence the new album also has some of the songs of the persona..🤯 oof.

Some of the biblical references I could find: Jungoo: his hands are tied by a branch of thorns (like Jesus's crown) and, while at some point he falls to the ground dead, shortly after he gets up (Jesus's resurrection) and enters a lake (baptism) from which he pulls out a shell; the shell in Christian religion is actually one of the symbol of baptism (in many churches you can find a shell-shaped container with holy water in front of the entrance) and it also symbolize rebirth and purification (just like in many other religions and in paganism) Also, he uses the shell as a trumpet: In the book of Revelation, seven angels blow seven trumpets (yup, always that damn 7) to announce the Apocalypse. Revelation 8:7: ''The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.'' In the same way, when he sounds the trumpet, it starts to rain fire. Also, Tae: I can't help but the scene when he takes the little girl by her hands and the giant wall opens while all the people gather behind him, reminds me the episode of the cross of the Red Sea, when Moses guides the Israelites to excape from Egypt by opening the waters of the Red Sea. Afterwards, the Israelites find themselves wandering for 40 years in the desert to reach the promised land: at first, when the wall opens, the earth behind it is bare and deserted ; then, by the end of the MV, all the plants begin to bloom. that's all I've managed to connect so far; of the others, except for Namjoon as Noah, I haven't found much yet to be honest. It's still partially connected to the MMA 2019 performance myth gods concept: MMA: JK = sea Jin = war/justice Jhope = thunder Suga = fire V = sun/air/Icarus Jimin = moon/light RM = vines/earth/Dionysus (the Liberator) 'ON' MV: JK in water, and blowing the horn to signal the gathering, like in MMA before Dionysus. Jin in battle field with a white dove (symbol of peace). Jhope amongst trees that look like lightning bolts / or got hit by lightning. Suga in candle lit room / fire red banners. V with sun rays or crown structure by his head, with burnt fallen feathers attached, and arms outstretched like wings. Jimin surrounded by one big drum/moon that's elevated, and many others that could represent moon phases, while he was reaching up to the sky (like in many other MV's). RM rescuing/liberating lives on earth from the flood. Also, don't really want to connect this to Maze Runner but it does compliment all the maps and mazes BTS's been referencing. The girl from Make It Right MV could also connects with TXT since yellow and blue are TXT's theme color and the dragon motif seen in Magic Island MV. At the end when they run to the top, the freeze frame could ties to the freeze frame when V is jumping off the platform. And speaking of time travel, can't help but fixate on how Jhope's outfit seems as if from a different time compare to others, and his scene with JK lying on the ground seems like a lot of time has passed at the same place JK collapsed that's why one scene JK was there as a memory and then disappear.

The dove keeps reminding me of noah's ark story. Remember how noah released 2 birds one raven and one dove. First he released the raven and the raven didn't come back which might symbolize BTS's theory. Ravens also symbolizes connecting the material world with world of spirit just like BTS connecting the dots. And the second bird which noah released was a dove, a dove means peace and love. He releases the dove and the dove came back with a leaf which might also mean there's love and peace within BTS. Honestly this is just my theory please note that I'm not an expert at these kind of thing lol

V looks like he’s laying down like on a crucifixion cross

This was such a treat and such a well-crafted video and well tied into the theme of their whole album and career. Here is a few thoughts I had while watching. there are the archetypal motifs by Jung like the apocalypse, the deluge/flood (Noah's ark), creation (the whole scene at the end where everything is born again all green). so when jungkook blows the conch he is basically calling for that renewal/revolution. To free themselves from the old in order to have the new, so that's why I think right after you see the whole dance sequence where it is all dark and crazy and looks like a whole battlefield. then everything gets set on fire before being born again. (and I agree it ties back to the wings/Herman hesse thing) And then other Jungian archetypes are the wise old man (RM in Noah’s role), The child (this is pretty self-explanatory and it makes sense that V would be the one to be with the child, he has a whole solo in his album called “Inner Child” and it also makes sense that the child is a girl, Carl Jung concept of Anima/animus), The wise old woman/caretaker (Jin taking the bird home with him, suffering at seeing the pain around him), the trickster/a god or spirit or human who has some kind of secret knowledge or intellect and uses it to disobey convention (Suga in the church, almost sect-like setting with all his followers, also the color red and yellow being in that scene reference the 18th-century Scandinavian depiction of the trickster God Loki). And this just to cite some things. Everyone kept comparing jungkook to jesus but I saw him more as John the baptist, since he is the announcer of a new age (blowing in the conch). John the baptist was the one who kept announcing the coming of Jesus which when put in context here is basically the coming of a new order/new world and a break from the old traditions, and the scene in the river reminds me of jesus baptism (the definition of baptism itself is to be born again). That's also the time when the spirit came down like a dove and rested on jesus (peep all the dove symbolism in the mv, literally the holy spirit is the spirit of renewal, rebirth and purification). also the bound hands I think are a direct reference to Matthew 14 there is a whole paragraph where it talks about john the Baptist being imprisoned by king herod. Basically john was the forerunner/announcer of the messiah which would be this new wind of change. So that's what I think jungkook also represents, apart from him taking on the whole hero archetype role on as well which in so many ways is what john the Baptist was too, a hero who later became a martyr. Also the john the baptist thing could totally be tied to the Noah (wise oldman jungian archetype)/ Noah's ark thing. They were both prophets and they were both ridiculed for their beliefs and the messages that they preached (like BTS in the beginning when they were made fun of for their name and their concept, and the way they dressed or did things), both John and Noah were announcers of a new world/ a new change, John announced the coming of Jesus (a new wind of change) and the abolishment of the olden beliefs of the time while Noah announced the Flood which basically destroyed the whole world and as a result a new world was born again (Just like BTS basically paved the way for a whole industry and also they are the forerunners of a new type of art, they are innovative in everything they do and also try to help change their generation, and the world with their music). There is also all the references to tracks on the album, like UGH (J-hope being indifferent and singing in front of the corpse being eaten by the crow), Black swan (the abandonned and broken drums in jimin's scene, signaling abandonment of music), we are bulletproof the eternal (coming together at the end of all the trials crossing the wall together), Ego (Journey to the past) etc... RM did say that this album was all about rebooting, and rebirth so it makes sense that the mvs main focus would be the journey to that rebirth/reboot. And this is just one of the main things in this mv, there is just so much detail and so many more easter eggs and clues related to the storyline and the album that you probably didn't have time to go over. This mv is a masterpiece to be honest, so intricate.

I'd like to point out something about the bird cages because I found a quote about it - "In his [Jung] mother’s room were cages, like bird cages, only they were houses, and they were for the ghosts (that is, the flitting ideas in the mind) to lodge in. ~E.A. Bennet, Meetings with Jung, Page 307 except in this case, could they be memories......or "ghosts" of his past decisions from all the timelines he went back into to save everyone? Just a thought!

Everything is like ' save me' the webtoon. The cat/voice had said that he could not make it out of the loop alone. That explains them being able to pass and be happy together. Because jin had said that no matter how much he would end up being hurt, he would still save them. He had also said that everytime he would save a member, they would end up dying in a worse manner anyways. Spring day can be related to the last ep of save me. In 'on' mv, its like finally making it cuz they're together. So that's why I think that each song is important in making up a theory at this rate. Literally, what are you doing bighit?! 'Save me pt0' literally saved us. We were going crazy. We at least found a beginning. So then, on is kinda like the part of the story when jin realizes smthing or it could be them having faith in each other. Or simply, this is the conclusion. Fake love is so damn important. We got to know more about their characters which are tied to some certain things. But, the cliff in this mv. It could mean that they succeeded but they were met with yet another end. I swear at this rate,im gonna be a genius.

Here’s a random theory when Jin resurrected the bird he brought back other from past mv’s .At 6:59 on the video if you look behind jhope it looks like one of the girls from the love yourself highlight reel (I think the girl with v) also I think the thorns have a meaning too, v has a tattoo of thorns down his neck and chest and jk has the thorns on his wrist tied up, maybe it is because people think they’re different like jk said in the shooting of on people called him the devil and back in wings era v had the black wings (maybe to represent darkness or evil) maybe by jk getting rid of the thorns on his wrists (washing away a sin) he thinks it will go back to normal and maybe v’s on his neck will too it kinda reminded me of the butterfly prologue where v jumped off the tower (maybe to wash away the sin of killing his farther) and when Jin dud it as well in euphoria i think maybe jk got this idea from v because he looks up to his hyungs and maybe he’s hoping that nothing will go wrong again. I think that all the drums in Jimin's scene represents the seven marches of the israelites in seven days. Because when the kid beats the drums, the walls opened. The Israelites marched around the walls once every day for six days with the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant. On the seventh day they marched seven times around the walls, then the priests blew their ram's horns, the Israelites raised a great shout, and the walls of the city fell. So yea. "Seven" becomes an important number. And also. Note that in Noah's ark, the animals were in either in pairs or in *sevenths*. Another symbolism of the number *seven*

hi, i just want to share what are my theories. Firstly, let me say that I'm a Muslim. For me, this MV symbolize the end of the world's situation (qiamah) and some of the prophets's story. 1. For RM scene, it's definitely from Noah's Ark. I don't want to comment furthermore about this one. 2. For Jungkook scene when he blew the 'shell' thing, we Muslim believe that when Allah tell Israfil to blew the trumpet, that means it is the world's end. The first blow will vanish everything in the earth, the second blow will assemble everyone from Prophet Adam until present at Mahsyar. 3. For the scene where plants start to regrow, there is a hadith saying that when the qiamah is near, the once dry Arab land will be fertile and covered in green. 4. For the scene where V is standing in front of the wall, the members and other people come, we can see that they are bringing only bow and arrow. There is a hadith saying that before qiamah, people will start a war and only old weapon are being used. There will be no high-technology weapon during that war

This was a great explanation~~ you know since one of the main themes of this album is rebirth I kind of saw the volcano scene as a moment of renewal. When a volcano erupts, the ashes create new fertile soil that grows vegetation and life again: one of the many cycles where destruction creates life. So, to relate back to BTS message, accepting the darkness and the pain for what it is ("bring on the pain") allows for us to come back even stronger and better. Just a thought also no pain no gain.

I just realized, that the meaning of the conch Shell jk is holding is the opposite of the Smeraldo flower. Smeraldo = truth that can't be told Conch Shell = truthfulspeech. I also do think, that the scene with jk in the water is about rebirth, since it looks like a baptism (at least the water), which is also about rebirth and a new begin (that's also the title of jks wings solo and short film, but might be just coincidence)

I love this!!😍 I know one thing for sure. I remember hearing a saying that "you have to go through all the 9 gates of hell before you get it right" which is referring to self. The past struggles, past mistakes, the failures etc..if you can't get past these things or self reflect, you can not evolve and move on spiritually and emotionally. You have to accept all parts of yourself even the bad too so you can be whole which is not easy. The old selves and beliefs died and now they are reborn and enlightened and gained full love and acceptance of themselves and because they love themselves, they can love others even more. Damn.
