All I know is, “I lost my mind” after SeokJin rode out on that dang whatever it was. I went completely blank afterwards 😳 🥰🥰.

The theory that I interpreted from the performance and stood out the most was the beginning of DIONYSUS. The man with the veil in the middle with a horse. In Ancient Greece, there was a (demoted) King who wore the veil due to anger after his honor was insulted and publicly attacked by men in power. (Read the story of Demaratus) Now the song N.O by BTS is a socio-political song that talks about society's pressures and ideals and how BTS wants us to resist it and say no. DIONYSUS is a story about an artist who is drunk with passion for his artistry. When BTS remixed N.O + DIONYSUS after seeing the veiled man's intro, I knew they wanted to send a message. That they are angry and in pain because of the "system". Obviously at the beginning of the year, their meteoric rise was undeniable BUT at the second half, the so called "system" in the entertainment industry began it's work to shade/deny their achievements. As well as using them for clout (Hence, Grammys and other award shows) Even this recent MMA 2019, there were rumors circulating that an entertainment company was brewing underhanded tactics against BTS. To me, for what I understood, the N.O + DIONYSUS remix means saying NO to the powerful individuals who show contempt for the artist. The industry's system who lambaste BTS' honor and success.

I was even just shook by the performances but the back of my brain also was working up theories and linking it. I hate that it’s a automatic habit now lol

Everytime I see these theories I feel dumb 😂 And at the same time I’m mind blown with the effort BTS put up in EVERY FREAKING THING they do. OMG! They’re not human 😂

What Cel means by Kronos is Saturn, is that, that’s his Roman name, Saturn.

I’m sure that Jungkook, J-hope or Suga is doing intro to Map of the soul: shadow. When you look at vcr where there are tv’s, j-hope’s, suga’s and jungkook’s is bigger (i think that’s because there are three main gods; Zeus, Poseidon and Hades, Suga can represent Hades because Hades is god of dead and king of underworld which is related to fire, Jungkook represents Poseidon and J-Hope represents Zeus). Dionysus, Apollo, Ares are son’s and Artemis daughter of Zeus. Apollo and Artemis are twins and Jimin and V both had same one earing through the performance. Also Jin might represent Athena (Ares’s half sister, warrior goddes and she leaded soldiers to war) not Ares because Jin became with Trojan horse and in Trojan war Ares was on the losing side while Athena, often depicted on Greek art as holding Nike (Victory) in her hand, favoured the triumphant Greeks. I think in new album there will be song titled “Hero” or something like that. I’m sure that Jungkook’s gonna to the intro because he is the on who is talking and the first to wake up (in the vcr). Also we know that all of them expect Jungkook is done intro to album. The mother archetype is closely associated in Carl Jung’s Map of the soul. And mothers are all over BU storyline... V’s mother left him and his sister with their abusive father, J-hope’s mother abandoned him at the carnival/festival, Suga’s mother died in the fire, that we think she set etc... In the performance it looked like they were going to war (people, horses, tigers, their clothes etc.) In the MAMA clip the told that they want to timetravel to coordinate 130911 which is N.O. release date, they also had a Dionysus dance break at the MMA (they played N.O. remix). I think they are going to perform N.O. at MAMA. I’m sorry for my grammar mistakes, English is not my first language.

I ALSO BELIVE THAT SHADOW IT’S NEXT BECAUSE THEY SPOILED IT WITH TXT WHO PLAYED WITH SHADOWS IN THE MMA PERFORMANCE

It’s getting deeper and deeper. I’ll be in a wheelchair by the time I can understand the whole thing 😂

But first let me thank Rick Riordan for educated me about Greek, Roman, and Nordic Mythology this far. What a great thing is BTS took a myth theme nowadays. And, kids. Go open your history book.

Dionysus wasn't the god of just wine, but also festivities and frenzy. If you look at the lyrics of Dionysus, they say let's get drunk on art because art is intoxicating like wine. In Korean, art is 예술 (yaesool) and wine is 술 (sool), so they're playing with words here.

As a Greek I want to correct something. Artemis actually is a Goddess, she is a woman and she is not the Goddess of moon, Artemis is the Godess of hunting. We don't have a God of moon in Greek mythology. I think that Jimin maybe is Aeolus the God of wind bc the dancing and the choreo looks like it. As for the trojan horse it was invented by Odysseus, inside were hiding the most great Greek warriors such as the immortal Achilles so they can mislead the trojans that this was a gift from the Gods, they took it into Troy and during the night the Greeks that were hiding in there caught the trojans out of guard, they attacked and won the war. For those who don't know there is a very good movie too called "Troy" and the great Achilles was played perfectly by Brad Pitt. Lots of love from Greece 🇬🇷💙

Zagreus and Dionysus are the same and different at the same time. Zagreus was the kid between Persephone and Hades, and the reason why they’re connected is because Persephone was said to have raised Dionysus, who was also said as her and Zeus’ son, but has also been said to be Zeus’ and a maiden name Semele’s son.

2:03 makes me think of Taehyung and his plotline. Could also refer to Seokjin. Maybe he needs to stop traveling back and continue _on_ in order to fix it? I have a feeling the MAMA performance tonight might help sort out some things because of the way Jin was talking about the "future."

This what makes BTS different! Their ability to tell a story! They open up new topics for Army to discover. They have intelligence that they utilise to the fullest! The fact the Jhope is the primary writer makes me so proud! It makes you think about the world, the history and present social economic issues people face - not just the youth- and loving oneself. Add fo the fact that their music does hit you differently when you just open your mind and heart to what they are trying to deliver.

I read on twitter @rads97_rads said that the veiled man during dionysus performance is Demaratus, the king of sparta who was exiled but then had to serve as an official. The then king humiliated him, so he left a gathering covering his head with a veil. He covered his head not in shame but as an expression of anger due to the treatment he got from people in power Edit : the panthers are symbol of Dionysus. That's why BTS always bring the panters when ever they perform Dionysus. I search it from wikipedia.

DIONYSUS was considered to be an outsider by many as in some stories he was only half God, taken from the womb of his mother before she died from looking at Zeus in his full glory, he was then implanted into Zeus's thigh and born as a God. Other stories he was a God who showed up from somewhere unknown which is why he is the God of wine and wildness. The Thracian horse is also a breed of horse, the same one that Alexander the Great was said to have read. They are meant to be the greatest horses that Posiden created, only allowed to be ridden by Heros.
