All homes need maintenance at on time or another. Just be thankful that you didn’t experience this while you were on the road and had to add towing to the cost. Home is where you both are and luckily you are able to take your dwelling wherever you want! Happy Holidays and a Joyous New Year!

$2,500 with $1,100 yet to come was an unforeseen hardship and a set back. The good news is nothing serious and VERY expensive was not discovered! Make sure the mechanic thoroughly explains how the re-gen system works. Not sure what or how many tires you need, however most school bus operators run re-treads on the rear which are a fraction of the cost of new front tires. Enjoying your progress.

Bummer. Hopefully the DPF (Diesel Particulant Filter) and Regen System will be good now for many years. It's actually the DPF filter that turn particulants to soot. Every so often, you have to Regen to burn the soot off so that the DPF can continue to do it's job. Yes, it sux that emissions actually cause and cost most failures on these medium duty engines. You're monitized by now so you'll just have to post a few extra videos with some good content to make up the maintenance cost. Good Luck !!! Safe Travels !!!

That 46 gallons of diesel would cost about $323 in germany. But diesel is cheap in germany compared to gasoline.😐 In germany we call cars Auto, from Automobil. My late dad always said Auto begins with "au" and ends with "ooo"😋

I'm sure you guys went into this with the understanding that things like this would pop up every so often. Hopefully not often. But, first and foremost I would have put all my energy into the mechanicals on your bus before you left home. The interior is nice to have but mechanicals should always come first.
