In this series I join up with my friend Sophie Matterson towards the end of her 13 month solo camel expedition across Australia with camels she caught from the wild and trained herself.
I spend five days on the trail with Sophie (4 Episodes) as she treks along the QLD/NSW border. This is the home stretch of her 4000km+ journey from the west coast of Australia to the east coast.
Sophie and I pay our respects to the Kooma, Bigambal and Kamilaroi Aboriginal people, the traditional owners of the land we trek through.
Thank you Frank and the other locals who assist Sophie and I on this part of the trip.
You can find out more about Sophie and follow the remainder of her journey here;

Sophie will hopefully release a book and film about her trip in future so please consider following her to find out the release details.
Here’s Sophie's Australian Geopgraphic Podcast interview that I refer to in the video;

Thank you sooooooo much Sophie for having me along!!!!!!
Please feel free to check out my other youtube videos, particularly my Surviving the Great Barrier Reef series. This was the dugout canoe expedition that I was on my way back from when I filmed this trip with Sophie. The canoe build and pre-departure video’s are already up and I’m about to start editing the actual expedition footage. It was epic and the hardest expedition I've done.

Wow Sophie sounds like an amazing woman. I love her spirit and her attitude. She's following her dream that in itself is astounding. Not everyone is doing that sort of thing nowadays. So anyone who ventures out and follows through with that is pretty incredible as far as I'm concerned.

I like it! it's a cool primal lifestyle. Only nature satisfies! It just feels so right. And that's just because humans have lived that way since 99.9999% of life on earth. (up until the last thousand years, especially the last 100) however I'd like to mention that this lifestyle is selfish, considering what's going on in our world today. I would highly recommend that you and your friends who follow similar lifestyles would begin promoting more autonomous/independent lifestyles... the goal being to influence your viewers to become themselves more independent from the system/state. Governments cannot control a population that's independent. A population that each can get their own food/water/electrical power. (animal farms/trees/fishing/hunting, solar-wind power, rain-water-filter) Hence why they want everyone to be dependent on the state and money for everything their lives depend on. Stacked up in the cities (aka: human slave farms) just smart enough to be obedient workers til death.

I would also recommend that you promote health, by yourself becoming more aware about nutrition and lifestyle choices which improve health. Food is the most important factor when it comes to health. Humans are hyper-carnivores by nature. Our digestive tract is 95% carnivorous. We have 95% putrefactive bacteria in our saliva and small intestine. Putrefactive bacteria are about digesting animal foods such as meat/seafood/dairy/eggs. A high fat diet is essential for optimal health. Especially animal fat for getting all the fat-soluble vitamins.. A, D, F, K2 which are only found in animals. (the correct forms and significant amounts) Fat is the best fuel for the body. Plant-foods are missing more than 50+ animal nutrients. Plant foods are NOT essential for health (contrary to popular belief), and in fact they are full of toxins/anti-nutrients which damage our gut and prevent nutrient absorption from animal foods. Worst plant foods are anything that comes from seeds. Such as grains/beans. Other super-toxic plants are garlic/onion/ginger/turmeric/etc... those are literally anti-life. The least harmful plant-foods are fruit (free of pesticides). And the healthiest plant food is probably coconuts/coconut cream/oil. Water, at least tap-water and cheap bottled water sold everywhere is NOT hydrating... in fact it dehydrates you the more you drink. Which is why I have not had a single glass of water since over a year ago, and for the first time in my life I don't feel thirst. And I can do excessive hard activities without (including in heat) all without dying of thirst like I used to. I can do all that work and at the end of it I can barely say that I'm thirsty if at all. So... what can you drink if not water? Raw milk, raw eggs, juices, and fruit. Maybe coconut water as last resort. And the key is to not gulp... but rather take small sips at a time with everything you ever drink and mix in the mouth with the bacteria for best hydration and digestion/absorption. You can check out r/hydration for best explanations. More key points for improving health (other than nutrition) 1. semen-retention (which does not mean anything extreme, but simply natural amount, basically avoiding casual sex) 2. avoiding toxic chemicals, synthetic man-made materials. That includes soaps/shampoo/clothing/perfumes/sunscreen.... dioxides from burning smoke or cars... And all materials from furniture/clothes/curtains/sheets/towels/etc... lint(shed) into plastic fibers (tiny particles on the air) and people breathe that on a daily basis. The worse source for that is inside cars.. 3. lymphatic baths (hot baths are very good for helping the lymphatic system (which removes any toxin that enters the body)... but saunas are too hot and they slowly cook you.. which is not healthy) 4. sleep (needless to say) 5. sunlight probably also healthy on sunrise/sunset 6. working out is mostly for increasing strength/posture and looks. And you simply do not need much exercise to build muscle when you follow your natural diet based on meat/seafood/ raw diary/ eggs/fruit.
