Amanda Seales has an interesting take on forgiveness and how it was allegedly taught to slaves and how it carries over to modern times. I wonder what evidence she has to support her position? She also said that forgiveness should be given to someone who “asks for it.” She also implies that forgiveness should only be extended as “compensation” in exchange for a beneficial act. I don’t know if she were attempting to speak from a biblical perspective on forgiveness, but that’s not my understanding of the Bible.
