Yes, similar. Kevin wants to help Nubian people. He wants to help his community. With regards to Monique, you never know what was said to Kevin by the powers in that industry when he wanted to help her. Was he told by networks they would not carry or support any projects of Monique, because it is obvious he wanted to run with her. It's obvious he has love for Monique. Kevin can only do what he can do, and he has a growing empire to protect. Everyone need to stop making quick judgements about people. Knowing the backdrop of situations would help people to make more righteous judgments.

Has absolutely nothing to do with being a boss, and if a man is choosing to finance a woman that shows no desire to work, that's a personal issue, not a GENDER issue. Men do THAT all the time, love taking care a damsel in distress. Just like she chose to take care of a man that didn't choose to work. It's all Personal choices.

Them saying she is hubris is not far fetched. They werent saying she defied them, they were saying she thinks she is more important than what she is in the situation. The reason why she thinks she's more than she is in the situation is because she is enamored by her own accomplishments. Then towards the end of this clip she proved that. Even though it might not have been shown initially, she showed it in her actions.

Hubris is the prideful attitude that caused the Greek characters to die. The story she told was of Narcissis. I think it’s great to be confident but NOT full of yourself. Hubris is excessive pride and she is bordering on that. No shade, just what we’re seeing. But not everyone is a child of God. We are all God’s creation, but not all His Children. John 1:12. It is by living for Jesus through FAITH that makes us children of God.
