GB is the very definition of introvert. We show we want to be alone. Actually we do enjoy privacy but feel lonely when our loved ones leave us alone. We act like their company isn’t that imp but in fact we long for it. But being ourselves, we just still stay shut & don’t say a word.

I've always seen GB as gentle, deeply loving and delicate, shy even. He is not insisting on anything but loves attention the most. Tan on the other hand is getting the attention he needs without wasting time waiting.

@@snafuet Most people squish spiders. I am not sure I could keep one as a pet but if I find one in my house I catch it in a cup and put it outside. I did the same for a moth. Although catching a moth in a cup was 100x more difficult.

Don’t worry. A cat with separation anxiety does not behave like GB did, sitting calmly by the door, grooming Tan and sleeping for hours. That is a sign of a contented cat. I believe he was calling Tan when he was meowing.

Mm...🤭 Interesting hypothesis. #1. I agree it's not full-blown separation anxiety; if anything deep sadness. #2. I played the clip over w/ my eyes closed. It's definitely the exact "cry" my cat Maddie uses when I get up from desk to find her standing in the hallway... trying to communicate something! Honestly sometimes she's calling her daughter, sometimes she wants me to open the garage door, and sometimes.. I can't figure it out. So, ya may have a point there! Wanted to add: Interestingly ONLY Maddie - the boss cat - makes that cry, regularly, not her daughter (even though her daughter is now an adult).

If you watch the video with baby GB crying while Bros went out, it's exact the same way he did here. He usually doesn't ever cry like Tan. So I believe he remembered being left alone.

GB hasn't had the same experiences as other animals to have full blown separation anxiety but he can still have it. Its gonna be a little bit different for him bc he's had a different life. Don't downplay it just bc its not the same as what you've seen

I don't think you should worry too much about leaving your cats alone. Cats can be quite at ease with solitude. It's wise to not be anxious and stressed about leaving them alone, once in a while. Your emotions are picked up by the cats and they tend to begin to live up to what you feel, or expect to see happen, like unhappiness in being alone. Be aware of that symbiotic energy chord. When 2 cats are alone for a while, it's even less problematic for them, and in your home, these 2 cats are good friends.

They do. Just because they don't show like dogs do, don't mean they don't feel as deeply. I've seen cats mourn and get depressed. My own cat will wait at the window facing the gate daily until I get home. Whenever I am.away, the kids send pics of her just staring or perking up and then hanging her head when a car passes but not mine.

There's a couple of cat youtubers who have caught their cats on camera hovering an entire day by the door until the owner comes home. TT from the CreamHeroes stuck with me because the owner didn't notice her at first and was greeting the other cats first, and she ended up sulking for the rest of the video. XD

GB "adopted" the eldest sibling role and had bee taught of ever since. It seems GB secretly wants more attention but he's took the responsibility being the eldest. In these rare times when he's all alone he secretly wants to be with the butlers. I still commend GB for patiently waiting like that too. And looking after Tan as well. I hope you guys spend time more with GB together as well.

Some cats show affection differently. They stare and observe their owners from afar, they don't like interacting or cuddling as much but just like their presence around. My cat was a combination of Tan and GB. She sometimes liked to cuddle but mostly just liked to be in the same room as me and followed me.

I think you seem like an enormously loving and thoughtful pet parent. I think your kitty will be fine and will get more used to your absences as time goes on. No life can be without a little loneliness and a little stress. I think your pets are some of the luckiest I can imagine, as you are caring and kind. I wish I could put your heart and mind into every pet parent's body.

광복이 꼬리가 꺽인 것 처음 봤어요;; 애기때 광복이 혼자 있을 때 구슬프게 울던것 생각나서 울컥...😭;; 점잖고 양보하고 표현을 안할 뿐이지 광복이도 아직 어려요오 ㅠㅠ;;;; 아..울컥..;;;; + 저도 재택근무라 아이들에게는 조건이 좋은 편에 속하는 집사이지만 저희 첫째 생각에 더 울컥해선거지 집사님들은 최고로 해주시고 계세요 👍🏻 광복이에 맴찢하고 댓 적느라 집사님들 타박하는 글로 비췰까 걱정돼서 추가로 답니다.😊

This reminded me of when GB was the only child and being the tiny kitten he was at the time, he would stay at the door and cry when he's left alone. Guess something never changes.

So this is really usual behaviour as you moved house recently. Cats get attached to their homes, so the new house is not yet home for the boys and is normal for them to seek and stay in the room with the strongest scent from you, as this gives them security. In a while they should be more relaxed 🥰

Was about to say this. It is a very mild case of separation anxiety because it is still a new house not yet home. The place is new and you and your scent is their designated primary safe place because for them YOU are home. the bros shouldn't stress over it too much. Routine and reassurance will work wonders

I have been following your channel for about 2 years now... its the first time i cry like a baby with one of your videos. GBs cry was unbearable 😢😫. When you see how anxious and desperate they are when you leave... it is when I think about people who would have to be in jail forever that abandon, beat them, chain them, or worst things. I would love that all animals have amazing and beautiful lifes like Milky, GB and Tan
