Colored Pencil Table Build !!

I wanted to make a table for the kids that would be very durable, and epoxy was the way to go. But what kind of table would it be without 10,000 colored pencils. LOL.

Mhm they do! My middle school and highschool has woodshop/building trades. When my brother was in highschool they built a whole house near our highschool and theres a family living there. It’s really awesome and heart warming they do that at our school, and it’s really fun!

Do it. You can definitely do it at home. It's just a resin table so get yourself some resin and make it. People do it all the time. They usually just coat wooden tables in this stuff so they last and can be used commercially.

The visual instructions are there in the video. It looks like a lot of work and patience but you might surprise yourself and make your own table. If I made something that beautiful and decided to sale it I would be asking a huge price for it.

It' d be cool to put them in epoxy proof cases and THEN do this. Keep them mint (or whatever they were at) and be able to cut them out later!

Woah woah woah, pump the brakes. That was a table saw, being used like a lathe, to cut a rectangle, into a circle, spinning the piece with a drill. Brilliant.

Really cool! though clear resin does yellow over time, so it might look off in a year or two

Higher quality resins such as totalboat (which is what I assume they are using as the brand labels for the polish and stir cups are facing the camera) generally yellow much slower as they are intended for larger more professional scale projects such as furniture, cars, or boats. Not that craft resin isnt good quality, just it has different solutions to make it better for a different kind of project (such as using thin layers for jewelry as compared to couple inch thick layers on boats or table tops).
