I wouldn’t call the first attack a “close call” with a sexual predator, it was an actual, direct encounter. Just because it’s done orally doesn’t mean it isn’t forced upon someone and therefore, assault. But that woman definitely saved her life by being compliant.

I'm a victim of sexual assault but because I repressed it until I was 18 and all he did was touch me, as well as my mom who was still friends with him tipped him off so he got a private lie detector test that came out as inconclusive he got away with it, I wish I had told someone when it happened

This is very unnerving. The girl who got picked up by the guy who went in to kill that 14 year old is very similasr to my story. After I was let go by my attacker and was sick of being told by detectives there was nothing I could do, I tried to move on. A month after I got a call from my friend who said my rapist was on the news. Soon after I got away he kidnapped a 14 year old and kept her as a sex slave for a month. I blamed myself for what happened to her, because I thought if I wasn't swayed by the detectives and took him to court he wouldn't have traumatized that poor girl for life. As far as I know, her name hasnt been released to the public, but I still think of her almost every day, and hope she's recovering

If you knew who he was identifying him as a witness would be enough to start a case and more than likely prosecute him.

My girlfriend was the victim of sexual assault twice. The idea of forcing yourself on someone honestly affects me so much. It makes me angry to the point where I can get violent, I think it's so fucking disgusting. In that story where the girl complied, I was literally sat here fucking shaking with rage. I feel so fucking bad for her. If I ever met anyone, and I have done in the past, who I know has committed ANY form of rape or sexual assault, I already know I can't stop myself from attacking them. It's utter fucking filth and anyone who has committed that shit should hate themselves for it.

This happened in 2018. I went outside to vibe, I was in my yard listening to music I had my back turned. A red car pulled up in my driveway and my sister was out there too. She had to pull me inside because the car stopped and the door was opening. Turns out that was a predator that LIVES IN MY AREA. Gosh I hope I move soon.

I've only just discovered the horror narrative genre because of a recent illness that makes it difficult to enjoy some of my former hobbies(IE watching television and video games) because the symptoms cause a kind of vertigo when watching the movement onscreen whereas I can sit and listen to your narratives without the discomfort caused by the symptoms. Once I was kidnapped when I was 16. Luckily the kidnapper was dumb and I went to the gym a lot, so I was able to break the zip ties he put on me and I made him crash the car he was driving. There were like 4 other guys that helped kidnap me but they went in a different car that was following the first guy, im lucky I crashed into another car because the 4 guys behind us ran away, if I just crashed and no one was there I probably would have gotten caught again

I`ve been sexually assaulted before and I have to say I`m still traumatized now. It happened when I was little, around when I was three years old up until I was six and while I`m eighteen now, it still prevents me from opening up to love because I don`t want to be hurt again

this makes me even more «scared». I live in a nice and peaceful neighbourhood with lots of children, and 2 weeks ago a man moved in a few houses away from our’s, he’s drunk all the time, he runs around naked outside, and he comes up to children and make them uncomfortable. He’s also been going to the school not so far away and trying to lure 1st graders with him... and I have to go past his house everyday when I go to school... wish me good luck surviving😂

Yeah, I had to take a break. The retelling of the same Reddit stories on every channel got to be UNBEARABLE. It got so ridiculous, that I'd end up having to skip through entire videos. But since I've been back, it doesn't seem to be happening as much, so that's good. I couldn't stay away too long, I gots to have ma stories! :-)

I had a very crazy experience when I was about 7yo ... I lived in a very dangerous neighborhood so there were questionable ppl always around and crime always occurred there.. I was in my room one night it wasn't late but very dark out and I had my window open my mom was right across the hall in the bathroom which wasn't far at all... like two steps and u were in the bathroom but anyway I was playing like little girls do my light was on so u could see in my room but u couldn't see outside and i hear a whisper at my window opening then I saw a face he used to be my neighbor he was saying come here and giving the gesture with his hand so since I knee who he was I started to go near the window when I got this strange feeling and decided to to stop in my tracks and run to my mom and tell her our old neighbor was at my window of course he was gone by the time we got back but I just couldn't shake the feeling that he was up to something... thank God I never went near that window who knows what could've happened very scary to think about even today as an adult
