Reply to my comment, they have awesome chalk markers now big and small !! I use them for menus and also spelling words or happy notes for the kids on the bathroom mirror!! Easy clean !!

Inflation here in Greece is skyrocketing. The majority of us feel it quite a lot, especially with groceries as it is something we cannot overly cut back on. My parents who live in Australia also see an increase in everything. The only comfort I take is that I am not alone and we are all feeling the effects of price increases.

I’m in Connecticut, prices at the grocery stores are through the roof! I used to be able to get through a month on about $500. Now it only goes for two weeks. I started cooking different. Lots of pasta and rice type casseroles! Foods that are filling. I’ve been baking my own bread and goodies. Also, been cleaning out the pantry and deep freezer using up whatever I have and finding items I forgot I purchased. Thank goodness for Pinterest, you can find all kind of recipes.

I feel your guys pain because here on Oahu,Hawaii where im from we have noticed an increase on pretty much EVERYTHING!!! And also ive noticed that not only the price increases whe are getting a little lesser amount of our products. ALOHA and continue being a BLESSING.

But the products in packaging have been shrinking for many years. Now, the price for an 8 oz. bag of chips is $4.79. It used to be half that just a few years ago. Guess you're noticing it because of recent inflation.

I totally understand a little one clearing the low shelf in the pantry. My grandson does it all the time so my daughter created a game. We moved all of our Tupperware on that shelf and other safe items. He is a 16 month old micro preemie and helps unload the dishwasher matching the container with its lid and most of the time gets the lid on himself then to finish the job puts it on the shelf. The shelf is not always neat or organized but that's what we are teaching through the game now.

No, even in Texas we are paying $50-$75 more a week. I am going to try the buy 6,5,4,3,2,1 method to see if it saves us money. 6 veg, 5 fruits, 4 proteins, 3 starches, two sauces or spreads and one fun item. It can’t hurt to try.

Shopping isn’t fun anymore. I have given up trying to save as the groceries just keep going up. You either just buy them or you do without. I am from Nova Scotia, Canada. The prices are about the same. Thank you for putting on these broadcasts as it is interesting to see how others live.

Chalk board paint sounds cool until you remember that at two if a baby is encouraged to draw on a door they have no concept that wall, floors and every door in the house are not to be drawn on. Go for white, easy to clean. Fuel prices in Canada jumped so we can expect to see higher prices on everything. I used to shop once a month now it is once every six weeks. Fresh fruit and veggies are missed but since i can't get cheaper fuel i will just use less!

Hope you use frozen produce too. They are just as nutritious (I've read sometimes even a little more). And, prices are cheaper out of season. COSTCO has the best frozen organic fruit 4 cheap.

I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. Groceries have increased over and over again. It’s not only there, but here as well. I am sure yours cost more because of the distance. I always enjoy seeing your Costco hauls. I cannot believe how much Olivia has grown. WOW! Where has the time gone? Don’t blink because if you do, she will be all grown up. Enjoy every minute!

Ciao from Calabria, Italy! Our groceries are going up.. but fresh, local, are stll affordable. Really have to comparrison shop sales, but worth time and effort. Family of two seniors, very healthy eating, approximately 50-75 a week on average. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine, fabulous cheeses, bakery bread..and the list can go on. Maybe an extra 20 on splurges per month, but still affordable in the very south. Love your sharing of life in Alaska! Thanks for having us!

The only way to catch the prices is to record the video, then play it back and pause at the prices. You can of course pause UKposts videos directly, but you don't have as much control over positioning the pause. I use 4K Downloader to record UKposts videos.

Obviously UKposts isn’t a top priority and it shouldn’t be lol Bert’s other job and the kids should be more important. they needed groceries and quickly we were just along for the ride 😂 if UKposts was their only source of income it would make sense that it should be done slower or by a different person but they didn’t go to costo just for a video

Paint with chock board black Paint, so you can write a shopping list and messages there, but the lower half can be where libby can draw on. Or use magnetic on too.

Hi Summers family, new commentor here. Southern Idaho has very similar prices at a local grocery store. We are mostly living on our pantry and freezer. Buy milk and 1 banana once a week. My husband likes a banana with his oatmeal. Every week when our sales flyers come out for local stores, I rush to see what is on sale. More often than not, very disappointed. These are not sales, it's highway roberry. Sure enjoy your taking the time to share your goings on in Alaska. Liz

Hi Sommers family Olivia gumboots are awesome great for puddle splashing. Grocery shopping is expensive here to.Costco is quite a far distance from us so we keep that for a 3 times a year shop. Though never on a Sunday it’s absolutely hectic. We generally to grocery shopping locally & yes it can be expensive. Aldi supermarkets help regulate the prices and have good prices with surprise buys in their middle aisles.Australia

Paint is white with the two large insert panels in black board paint so Libby can draw on the bottom and you can do notes on the top, but the base would be white, a full black door isn't as nice as you think!

Here in the, UK prices are still going up a lot and especially chocolate and olive oil which has almost doubled in a short space of time. May I suggest that you explain what one or two products are for us those of us from other countries who are not familiar with American brands? I do appreciate today's speed shop was necessary! You may have to put a child lock on the pantry because it won't be long before Olivia can turn the knob! ❤

I love the idea of a black door. It would drive me nuts it being another color than the rest of the doors. Maybe inside the pantry? Pick a color you love! It is more expensive here in the midwest. We went from $80 a week to $150. This is bare minimum no extras.

In Minnesota the cost of the protein drinks is $20.98 and the apple juice is $6.58. It is definitely more expensive in Alaska. Love your videos!

Here in the Netherlands it depends what store you go. But the prices are also high. We have a sugar tax etc. Last year I was on holiday in swiss, well the prices are crazy over there.. far from normal😂
