Hearing Dave talk about not wanting to charge for content and not getting paid for the videos makes it so clear why he's been so successful. That type of passion and sincerity seeps into everything he creates and the fans feel it. True excitement about what he does and how it effects people sets him lightyears apart from those who do it for money and power.

That was such a great analogy. The pandemic does feel like when Thanos snapped the earth and something feels missing and eerie. It's like you're constantly waiting for something you're not sure will ever happen

Bring Taylor onto the podcast more!! The "paint the picture" storytelling is more engaging as a listener!!

I usually love listening to Jason, David & his guests banter, but please let Taylor finish her story without interrupting her. What annoyed me the most is that Taylor was trying to share why she was scared & David kept invalidating her feelings.

I completely agree with David and Ilya there is like a different energy to going out with friends and family as compared to pre-pandemic like you have to be more cautious and aware

I know you guys will never read this, but hearing David's view on moving to a paid platform or even just putting good content behind a paywall made me respect him so much more than I already did as if that was possible. I'm the same age as you David , but I'm a girl, and I'm currently homeless. All I have pretty much is my tent my cat and my phone and NOT by choice whatsoever. But your content is the one constant thing in my life that makes me happy and can bring me out of my darkest times. It's so refreshing to hear a content creator have such a different opinion and not be ALL about the money. I understand you have to make a living but there's a lot of people I'm sure that might not be in as bad of a spot as I am but also couldn't afford a patreon or OF and we love you posting on here!! It may sound pathetic but I cried when you came back to vlogging. It was like a light finally coming back into my life that was missing for so long. I'll support any decision you make but that definitely made me super happy to hear. And I hope you can continue to vlog but for selfish reasons so if you decide to stop I'll be content rewatching your old ones over and over 🥺💕 also jason you're amazing and I love you on the pod please never leave or feel like you don't belong you make this podcast! Really, really ironic moment rn listening to you guys talk about how there’s a “dark cloud” around everyone because it’s 1000000% true. I was watching a different channel and when I seen this notification pop up I immediately pushed it. How Im going through such an emotional hard time rn and this topic is in the beginning is crazily coincidental. I think it’s kinda comforting knowing y’all are going through so much just like a lot of us. Why it’s comforting idk. I can’t put into words the relatability we have rn and how it sounds in my head lol the only difference between us I think is y’all are financially equipped to pay for every day obligations and y’all have each other to talk through all this shhhtuff. Myself however has to keep it together and vent on this comment section bc I’m a mama of 7 and I don’t want my kiddies knowing that shhht is kinda “gloomy ” mentally at this moment in time. It’s nothing that I can’t handle though. Anyways thanks for pod. I actually am feeling better listening and watching you guys💕

Day by day my respect for you keeps increasing David. You are a foooking legend.

I've been trapped inside my house for 21 months. Not able to work (I was able to find a remote job for a few months that ended in September), see friends, or see my family because I'm immunocompromised. My anxiety has been at an all time high. My stress.. I can't even describe the feeling of trying to support my child without a pay check. But I also want to say thank you for being a much needed distraction for me. Being able to watch your entire friend group goof off and have fun makes my week. If you want to stop the vlogs and focus on other things, do it. This is the time to explore the opportunities you have offered to you. I wish you nothing but success. Again, thank you for being able to bring a smile to my face even in the most difficult times.

I cannot wait until Jason’s doc comes out I’m so exited also I love Jason and Ilya together great chemistry long shot but a pod cast them two would be outstanding
