Best hand to hand in the MCU in my opinion, and that’s just the trailer

As long as they stay away from the shaky cam, I'll be happy. I don't want to hurl every time I want to watch an action fight scene from Hollywood lol. I mean yeah I can always go and rewatch the old Hong Kong kung fu classics, but I also would like to see new choreographed set pieces. Donnie Yen and Jackie can't do this stuff forever. Even Gordon Liu doesn't fight as much in his tv series as he's gotten older. It's time for a new generation to take up the mantle, but they can't do it if they're going to be hamstrung by the way Hollywood films fight scenes. I know that a lot countries in Asia have already taken the lead in advancing fight choreography and filming them, I get that. It would just be nice to see Hollywood join the fray too. Anyhoo, just my .02c.

Not for a long time at least since Spider Man's gonna be back with Sony after No Way Home. Maybe in like 6-10 years for the next big Avengers movie, Marvel might get Spider Man back to a couple of movies

Shang-Chi will be many times better. In the comics, captain america reached out to Shang-Chi for help to improve his skills.

It'll probably dethrone that movie in terms of hand to hand combat fight scenes, but we'll see. Either way, CA:TWS is an amazing film and I hope Shang-Chi will deliver as well!

But to tell u guys the truth, Marvel Studios actually planned to introduce the real Mandarin in Iron Man 3, but China strictly forbade them since Iron Man (American hero) vs the Mandarin (Chinese villain) sounds like Marvel's attempt of promoting the age-old Yellow Peril stereotype again. Plus, the Mandarin is a Yellow Peril-type supervillain. If they still let that happen, China will ban Iron Man 3 & other future MCU projects because the portrayal of the Mandarin will instill fear in all people towards China. That's why they're forced to introduce the Mandarin somewhere else, in this case: Shang-Chi. Since it's Chinese hero vs Chinese villain, China is fine with it.

The fight cinematography actually looks pretty bad and the CGI looks jankity.

@@JaySewani Who told you that the trailers had half-baked CGI scenes? Lol. Typically, they don't release unfinished products for a movie trailer. We've seen already three trailers and a featurette. The movie is being released on September 3. At this point, it's done-done, especially when you factor in all that extra time from the loooong Covid-19 delay. The CGI is an ugly mess (just like Black Widow). Best fight scenes ever? You sure? Because we didn't see any awesome fights in any of those trailers. Don't be mad at me, be mad at the trailers. Plural. MCU movies are family friendly, action comedies. How awesome do you think these fight scenes are going to be? It's a live action superhero cartoon.

This movie is going to be nothing like Raid. Disney/Marvel movies are family friendly, action comedy movies. Marvel abuses shakey camera, quick cuts, and angled shots. They also avoid taking risk and portraying serious, gritty drama. Shang Chi will not be anything close to the Raid.

Lol kiddo. I grew up on Hong Kong action movies with real martial artists. In some of them the rings on the lower arm was an actual weapon. Well... not supported by CGI. Just normal, heavy, deadly rings.
