Ikr? As talanted as Charles (LeChair) is, he finished behind Carlos and let's be fair, Charles gets more recognition even when he absolutely butchers it. For example he got DOTD in Austria from going last to 5th/6th behind carlos. And why was he last? Because he clipped Gasly's rear tyre and broke his front wing on the first lap, while also taking Gasly out as he tried a way too risky overtake than made no sense at that point.

Add to that the fact that he ridiculously blamed Tsunoda for trying to push him off track (which he did to himself) and it is clear that his statements are not wise, at least not when he is competing (like most competitors).

If Ferrari’s plan comes together in 22, Carlos could be fighting for the championship. The fact he beat Leclerc this year really shows his talent. Leclerc is supposed to be a champion in waiting but Sainz could be the X factor for Ferrari’s future. Although a team of Max and Carlos at the RB senior team would have been one tough team to beat. Shame they gave up on him so soon.

Absolutely. Hopefully people will now accept that RB actually do love him. They've let him go to Williams to give him a chance to get back into F1, because they don't have another seat (shy of starting a third team, and that's not going to happen!). I think their plan is to let him rebuild his confidence - moving him to DTM helped that, and keeping him running in their colours would have certainly shown him that they still want him around - and when the time comes, he's going to get a seat back in RB, unless Williams suddenly do well and he might not want to leave!

Sainz is a descent driver, but I am not that impressed. It was his 7th F1 season. Zero wins. He was having a hard time with Lando Norris. He also didn’t crush Hulkenberg. I would say behind Max and Hamilton there will be hopefully Russel. Otherwise when Hamilton quits, it will be very boring.

Max destroyed Sainz, Ricciardo, Gasly, Albon and Perez. - The only one who could maybe beat Verstappen is Russel. The rest the would all lose when driving a similar car.

We only get that from the race comms, though. In post race interviews they absolutely are PR machines. Actually, Norris is champion of F1.5. Sainz is the best of the rest in formula 1. In F1.5 they remove Merc and RB from the results, so the scoring system is different. It's declared on r/Formula1Point5 subreddit. But Sainz did amazing :D (These are facts, don't call me biased.)

AFAIK they abandoned development of the 2021 car very early into this season and switched over fully to develop the 2022 car - so they would have had a lot of time and their entire resources poured into the 2022 design.
