Florida’s cool, but you can’t deny its oddness. Here’s a story of one of my trips to Florida. It was about 8 or so at a strip mall, I was about 10. We walk into a place that sells fudge. Personally, I don’t like fudge but my dad made us go anyway. There was a guy giving samples on the left. A woman walked passed us directly to the door, a slightly terrified look on her face. Fudge Guy looked at me, “You want some fudge?” (REALLY creepy gravelly voice btw). I declined. Fudge Guy didn’t like that. He SLAMMED his fists onto the table, *“YOU. WILL EAT. MA FUDGE!”* Dude freaking VAULTED over the table and started THROWING SAMPLES AT ME. At this point I realized why the previous lady looked so worried. What was my dad doing at this time, you might ask. Nothing. He was standing back LAUGHING as I got pelted with baked goods from some maniac. And that’s one of my Florida stories.
