I personally like the 60s models over anything else. The 80s mustangs look like grandmas car.

69 mustang is my favorite. This is why i really love 2015-2020 mustang because it resembles it so much...

The best ones in my opinion were definitely 64-78. After that they seriously deviated from the original look. But I think it was 2005 when they finally realized that the old design is better, and they brought it back.

2 years ago in Automotive Foundations one of the students had a 2013 Shelby GT500. Sitting in his car was a great experience.

1967 and 1968 were the 2 best years imo. The Mustangs of the past decade or so have tried to emulate that look but it looks way too bulky.

64-70 is prime Mustang years 2005-14 is the "we're getting somewhere" years 14 and beyond is the "not 60s, but still awesome" style We don't talk about the rest.

i have the 1972 mach1 for 16 years now . and still enjoy every mile .

Even though there was very little difference, you failed to show the 1964-1/2 my dad had one there was very little difference in the way they looked but a lot of people forgot they existed. The only people that really remember the 1964-1/2 are those people that were alive at the time they were made. My dad had one when I was around 8 or 9 (I'm 40 now) and I can very distinctly remember riding around in it and every single detail of it. He was a high school vocational teacher and taught reprographics or printing on printing presses which is now becoming a dying art form but he bought the car when it was in need of a full restoration The vocational department at the high school that he taught at which is consequently the high school that I went to in my high school years completely rebuilt the car for him during a school year. The auto mechanics class built him a blueprinted 289 V8 backed it up to a C6 automatic transmission and they even added air conditioning that was a factory under dash air unit that my dad located at a scrap yard. After the auto mechanics were finished that's when the automotive paint and body kids got to work on it and by the time they were done that car was virtually a brand new 1964-1/2 Mustang in sunrise yellow with a black vinyl top and a black interior. It was as pretty as the day that it rolled off the assembly line. My dad and I and my brother and sister went for many rides in that car and put many miles on it. I would love to be able to find that car and buy it back from whoever owns it now if it was still on the road but I have no way of knowing. It's truly a shame that the vocational department at that high school has now become an empty building. There is no more auto mechanics class there is no more automotive paint and body there's no more HVAC it's basically an empty shell of a building. My dad's old print shop class is still there but they don't teach class anymore they just have somebody come in and use it to print the student handbooks every year and then it's closed up and locked the rest of the year. It's very sad I have many great memories with my dad in that building during the summer as a child. And then later in my high school years I ended up taking that same class that he used to teach long after he had divorced my mom and left that school far behind. Just wanted to share a little story sorry if everyone got bored with it

My favorite mustangs are the 69 Eleanor and the mach1 and also all the late 60s early 70s mustangs and the new ones mainly the 2019 gt. In the 80s mustangs were like dogs, in another words, old man's muscle cars. So glad that in the early 2000s they dramatically change and started being beasts again that we can actually hit the throlle and ear that engine came to life. There's no better feeling than that.

I owned my first Mustang in High School!...A 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe that I later fixed up like a 66 Shelby GT350 Coupe, later I purchased a 69 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that was Stolen from me! My next Ford Product was a 1985 Mercury Capri 5.0 RS then a 2000 Ford Explorer!...Later I Bought a 2003 Ford Mustang GT/Cobra Project Car and I currently own a 2008 Ford Mustang V6 Base Model with Auto Trans as my latest Project Car!...I am Just Saying!...Mustangs Forever!...God Bless America!
