The BAE HQ welcomes Dr Syabira Yusoff who won The Great British Bake Off 2022!
Syabira was born in Malayasia and originally studied agriculture but fell in love with genetics.
She moved to the UK to study this in more depth but her experiments frustrated her and took over her life.
Syabira turned to baking and it became her therapy. On a whim she applied to The Great British Bake Off in 2022.
Despite having never baked bread or pies before she won!
