What if… Santa was the gooey demon in the pumpkin was Santa? And lemon and the gooey unused sprite were partners in crime. Maybe, they took human souls and the lemon demon and the gooey demon wanted to get revenge and the reasons why the henchman’s are not getting revenge is becuase maybe they erased there memories but they didn’t with the lemon and gooey demon?

Also the "fallen angels" line is just intimidation - he's implying that he'll use Boyfriend's corpse to create snow angels. It also makes a lot more sense when _put in context_ - the previous line also mentions doing holiday activities (making snowmen) with his dead body.

Theory: Look at the monster’s neck closely. Look at the colour, doesn’t it seem oddly familiar to the skin of the background dancers? I always thought that the girlfriend's parents were holding the mall santa hostage because they just wanted to sit on the santa's chair while they had the battle with boyfriend or something like that, and you can see Lemon Demon on the background in the first two rounds, probably he's waiting for his turn to attack, he doesn't just appear out of nowhere (kinda) he was always there... in the background... waiting for the right moment to attack...

I know he has stated that the Lemon Demon is one of the dancing demons but I have more evidence to support this theory immensely also I am surprised that Matpat did not mention the neck color of the Lemon Demon, it is VERY similar to the Dancing Demons. Also if you look at the old sprite for the Lemon Demon his body looks or IS colored black with like a marker because you can see the purplish pink color in some spots.

Fun fact: -Santa is dead (confirmed), -Santa is looking at Mom's uh...Chest, -Hatsune (I think) Miku is canonically BF's Sister, -At week 7 GF didn't call Pico...The parents hired him AGAIN to kill BF, -GF can turn her skin to purple when she likes, -Spookez was sung by Pump and South sung by Skid I made it look less messy

It’s been confirmed in streams that the parents “accepting” bf was just a way to make him easier to mess with and they don’t actually like him, it’s also been confirmed that the dad did push them into the game, and the monster’s (lemon demon) songs aren’t made by the main team aside from the charting, it’s actually bassetfilms (the voice of the monster) that made them, so it’s unlikely that any real lore is hidden in them
