when i lived in NYC, my girlfriend and i always wondered why the hell the people upstairs kept moving furniture around the whole day into the night. it was such a mystery. now i finally know. it was so damn annoying... FYI, you're neighbor downstairs hates you.

I’ll always love the concept of rebuilding a small space to get the most out of every foot, and this was a pretty neat one. That being said, anyone that buys a 350 sq ft apartment for $750,000 needs to rethink their life decisions.

I lived in a MUCH smaller studio in NJ with a view of NYC for $985 a month back in 2017-2018. This studio is a night and day difference lol i wish i had this back then. But now im in texas with a 3 bedroom house, 2 floors, 2 bathrooms, master bedroom and 2 walk in closets and his and her vanity and 2 parking spots for almost half the price

I saw just him on a show where he had a beautiful off grid home built for himself in Maui. Plus they even converted his vehicle to electric power.

That's amazing. To have such a small space but also be able to have guests is fantastic. I would love to be able to have family and friends come stay if I lived in an attractive place like NYC, but then to also be able to officer such a comfortable private space in such a small apartment would be the cherry on top . Well done! So creative - what an elastic mind to be able to think around the limitations of tiny-space living.

These places always seem very cool, but after a while of living in them you would just end up leaving the bed down all the time etc. People are inherently lazy.

I really love the wet room. As someone else suggested just place a mat on the floor(outside the bathroom door)so you track water through the house. The whole space is really nice and relaxing

Another fairly spacious apartment with high ceilings masquerading as a 'tiny' space. Given the feeling of a medical facility with those folding walls. Also the obsession with over engineered 'multiuse' furniture. Seriously an old wooden crate can be a coffee table / dining table /desk with 'concealed' storage underneath.

Just gonna say it, this dude is a genius! such a cool and functional space.

Oh man, I loved the LE1 design so much. I also love this design. Personally I would have made both walls the same accordion wall, but everything else was great. It would improve on the already great acoustics, a much better facet of this design over LE1. I love the use of felt everywhere. Really adds to the design. The wall was fantastic. Stapled felt, simple, wonderful, and functional for acoustics. That table was great. I loved the last table especially, this one works very nicely. With the right design, you could probably even do 2 of those sections that fold out, one on the other side, to make an even larger table in larger spaces. You'd probably need to have some supports though, might be reaching that instability region, but it could be done. I would probably just sleep in that office space all the time lol. Not even taking the table down either. As you say, it's about keeping your body happy, not the house, the house doesn't care as much. It's easier to manage bacterial growths on the house than it is to manage ill health of the body. Much easier. Far easier to warm up than it is to cool down. if you are too cold, get active. if you are really cold, put clothes on, if you are dangerously cold, artificial heating. if you are too hot, you can't take your skin off. Just doesn't work like that lol. The less you need to cool, the better. I love the look of this bathroom especially. The texture on that wall, love that. That curve is nice. I love it when rooms have that sort of thing happening. Just so subtle and smooth. I prefer it over other things like the usual skirtings you see dividing floors / ceilings to walls. It's also trivial to clean. None of these edges where stuff can gather and solidify. I love seeing your ideas. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.

This has some really good ideas. The sound proofing is very nice. The felt on the walls over the plywood did a really good job with deadening the sound. The blackout shades are a smart idea too. I like this one tine but nice.

It's not a home, it's just a hotel room or prison in Norway :) , no personal stuff, I could'nt live like that for long term.

I bet the bathroom sink, mirror, basin and work surface get soaked during a shower, you'd probably have to wipe it down afterwards. The floor of the bathroom would be wet for a while too, meaning you'd need a mat outside of the door to wipe your feet when leaving. No socks in the apartment! Apart from that the rest of the place is pretty cool. The bathroom needs more work.

I truly think it’s ingenious. Love it. Great materials, very practical, doesn’t seem too much of a hassle dealing with the bed...the table fantastic. The only thing I didn’t like too much was the bathroom, where basically everything gets wet, but other than that. Great!

It is simply a commercial grade collapsible ironing board that has been modified to have a lower overall preset height-select adjustment, and then attached to whatever table surface you'd like. If any of y'all find a source plz be sure2share here.

Everything seems perfect, but I think a dish washer is kind not that needed, instead maybe add a washing machine? Since in last apartment as well I didn't see one so how do you clean your clothes are where do you dry them?

Very cool home. I like the idea of fabric walls specially. For me the apartment is one bedroom and one working room. I would only push the bed up when people come. I also like the street where the apartment building is located in.

Why make a small apartment even smaller by dividing it into many tiny spaces? Very claustrophobic. Knowing NYC laws, I ask myself, Is it legal? Maybe to live, but for sure not to rent, rooms are not large enough to afford space for more than one person (NY Square Footage Laws Per Person).

He's got enough space to not move furniture around.
