5:08 "close up shots from the 2MP macro cam are decent" in which world can we consider these decent? maybe in 2013 and I am 100% sure cropping from the main would have resulted in a usable picture because I would immediately delete all of those. Would you post even a single one of these on your *private* social media? - I highly doubt it. we all know 2MP macro cams are garbage so why don't you call all OEMs out who use them as a cheap excuse to up the camera count. It's such a useless trend that only creates more e waste in the process. other than that great review and I hope realme changes course on this because their phones would be even better without garbage cameras built in

Just lag in mir4 game - you have to set to low graphicd so that u can play little bit smooth. Also camera is not good.

so you basically get 2021 specs for everything except the camera which gets 2016 specs, still dam good at less then half the price of Sammy or iPhone, just not the quality camera.

The display is not on the same level. Just the processor is good and the rest is very very average. I think the galaxy s20+ is a much better choice for all most the same price.

Thanks for the review. Just recieved it and so far i think the value for money is huge. Just discovered something that might be a dealbreaker though... Android auto is working poorly on realme and Oppo phone.... As soon as m'y phone turns off the screen... Android auto is freezing.... Hope they will adress the problem soon

Same here with Realme 8. I have tried various android mobiles (Samsung, Realme and Xiaomi) and android auto does not work 100% well. Instead I have used Apple CarPlay with older mobiles such as the iPhone SE 2016 and they work great.

@@baptistelegrand9295 Not exactly, I bet if you take a Pixel it works perfectly, but I get the feeling that no brand (sure there is one) ends up having android auto polished to 100%. I do not know if it is because it is not used much or because it is normal that may have interference with other apps...etc. I think the brands do not pay special attention to that.

It's not Realme's fault to be fair. Most mobile games do not support higher than 60fps. Except for PubgM ( 90fps ) and LoLWR ( 120fps )

realme has less buggy ui than mi iqoo 7 with Snapdragon 870 and iqoo 7 legend with snapdragon 888 are the best in their price range... problem with realme is dare to leap branding in their phones

I bought it, and was disappointed. Unfortunately the screen is very difficult to read in the sun because the anti-glare applied is of poor quality. contrast and brightness too (not all amoled are equal). the realme x2 pro for example has a much better contrast and brightness than this GT.

Very few UKpostsrs mentioned abt weakness. Some even nvr mentioned at all. I bought Realme GT 5G from China. Everything as per advertised and well packed. The drawbacks are notification problem. Seems nowadays phones don't have notification LED it's hard to notice. Realme GT's problem is some apps it notify you, but some not including sounds. No matter how hard you play with the settings the problem is there. 2. Second heat problem sometime it works sometimes you can feel the heat. Quite hot. 3. FB lag. Not sure what's the root cause. Sometimes the app lagging Pro side: performance wise, battery drain wise and others just working fine without any problem.
