This is super accurate. I have stories very similar to ths. Like, for real! I get to this girl's house and she yells at me to come in, so I awkwardly walk in and she yells again and is like "I'm in the kitchen" so I walk in and there is a fat guy with a wife beater shirt sitting in the chair and she is cutting his hair with clipper, there are two cats and they start sniffing me and staring at me, and they have a to-do list on the fridge that only has one thing which is "eat ass" and it is checked off. So I am just standing there like... "hey..." And she's like "I'll just be a minute. If I cut his hair I don't have to pay rent" so I'm like... "yeah...." and just stand there not knowing what to do. So she goes "You can sit down" and there is a really small table in the corner with one chair, you know like that Sims 1 table that you bought when first starting because you were too poor for a real table? It was like that. So I sit down and the cat starts trying to scratch my leg. So the three of us have an awkward conversation about how they knew each other and it takes her almost 40 minutes to cut his hair. We were supposed to go out for dinner, but then she goes "I'm not really hungry let's get ice cream instead" so we walk down the street and she takes me to an ice cream truck, then she goes "Never mind let's just go home and I'll order carry out" Annoyed, we walk back to her house and she orders thai. Okay cool, she takes me into the basement where she sleeps and we sit on her bed and she starts playing the game Detroit, so I try to start up a conversation but she pulls out her phone and starts talking to her friend, invites her friend over and is like "My friend is going to eat thai with us." So now me, her female friend and the fat man had to eat thai together. It was awkward and I hated everything. :|

How does he get his characters down so well? Those overly-angsty, and depressed young people were spot on.

The fact his friend stopped playing with the ball to ask how he was doing really shows he's a good friend
