I like when people who like other teams like other drivers. All the time I meet people who exclusively like some people and hate the rest. Like Mercedes and Ferrari fans who hate Verstappen, all the time I explain to them why I like Verstappen as a Hamilton fan. I agree with you also, I can see why you'd prefer him like this he seems genuinely happier and more laid back.

Now that lulu is showing what a mediocre driver it is and merc show their incompetence at aero that sandcastle is collapsing. That fragile construct might work when everything goes as planned so both benefit, but when reality destroys these plans and one or both start to lose, things go sour quickly.

I think Alonso demonstrates that drivers of this vintage can compete if they have comparable machinery. If AMR can make progress in one year, there's hope that Mercedes can recover, but it does look like the zero sidepods have got to go. AMR is probably getting nervous that their sponsors will never see a great return on their investment if Daddy's son continues to occupy the second seat.

@@cafepablo In all fairness to Lance, he fought George pretty well, in a car only slightly faster, while having a broken toe and a pinned wrist. That's pretty impressive. Lance has great races, but not too many.
