sweetscience Rigo True, and I don't think he can move up but so far he's only 5'5, 140 will probably be his peak weight cause his height, don't wanna be fighting guys too tall who can keep him away with the jab. He is a superstar tho, and he needs to work on his Defense.

Gamboa's hella good but he gets too aggressive and leaves himself open for shots. He did well in the early rounds against Crawford but became careless and caught lefts and rights.

Gamboa's best days are behind him. When he was in his 20's he was a specimen of an athlete, speed, power, agility, reflexes but now at almost 40 years old his best attributes are declining. He's still a great fighter tho but Tank is basically who Gamboa used to be and honestly at this point I see Davis knocking him out within 8 rounds

beautiful form, possessing all the basic technical skills, fast, entertaining, got some power. but some where along the way, my boy lost his chin. Always fun to watch him, you have to respect him for getting in with the young pitbull cruz. I actually thought he was holding his own pretty well up against cruz who is also willing to get in with anybody. Its these type young new fighters like Cruz and OG's like Gamboa that keep this sport fresh and new, as old as it is.

Gamboa vs Mikey is what we all wanna see. Got my fingers crossed hoping they come to an agreement. Gamboa gets careless at times, and thats dangerous. But Mikey has tasted the canvas too. Bob Arum is kinda protecting Mikey to some degree. I hope they make the fight happen.

Gamboa always had a solid chin. His problem has always been foot position and balance. What i dont understand is how a man that comes from a place and lives near water cant work on his balance . Heck even a lake would do. That being said im still a fan. Dude brings it . Couple more days

chukenotothebone Dude, Crawford is what you call an exceptional boxer. This does not give Mikey Garcia a pass because styles make fights. Stop being a hater of crawford by making Gamboa look like a bum. Manny pacquaio has been knocked out twice with 5 losses and is number 2 pound for pound. Mikey in my opinion still can't beat any of these fighters.

Goldie Wan Kenobi Gamboa is a stronger fighter. Crawford has better skill. He can adapt to fighters quicker than others.

These highlights are from damn near a decade ago. Gamboa does not have the same speed or sharpness. There is a reason why he's such a huge underdog against Davis. Still I hope he puts up a good scrap while he lasts. Power is the last thing to go as a fighter ages and Gamboa still has some pop.
