I do agree that the majority of people stand somewhere in the center with their points of view on these particular racial viewpoints. However, if you spend any amount of time on the internet you'll find plenty of people of all colors (especially on college campuses) who believe that kind of far left narrative and victim mentality. Tom made some good points, some of which are factual, but much of this song seems to also be hyperbolic and satirical and playing on that far left mentality. That being said, only Tom knows exactly what he was trying to convey in this song. All the comments are people trying to expound hypotheticals based on how they see it.
