I think the most significant part of this whole video is that he's standing on the edge of a giant cliff.....deciding whether to leap or not. That part says alot!! I loved this song/video. Tom always has a way of explaining things that will touch your soul in a way that I dont think any other artist can! ♡

Standing at the edge of a cliff and realizing how much control you actually have over your life is both scary and liberating. All it takes is a simple decision to just step off. One millisecond to decide to step off and die, step off and live with the broken bones and feeding tubes, or step away. It's scary because you realize that you are the one ultimately responsible for your life, where you are in it, and your future. It's liberating for the same reason.

Tom is just a normal man who became famous and now it’s all too real and a real man speaks his truth and it’s so refreshing to see and hear the facts and the truth we all need to let him know that it’s ok to slow done and enjoy the journey him and Nova have worked so hard to accomplish.. he is just human and has real issues prior to becoming famous and since then has become sober and also quit smoking and u add that new stress to the instant fame and money to the mix u have a problem awaiting to explode…! We all have some type of mental illness some can cope with it others can't but there is help. Sometimes it is difficult and for an artist to come out and admit he's going through the same things you are it really hits home.

Everybody hurts for Tom. I've been a fan since '18 and I've seen the effects of this life on him through his music. I wish he would take a long break and just enjoy his time with Nova and his parents and just let go for a while. He shouldn't be obligated to his fans or to please anyone who don't like him. Everyone NEEDS time off. Also just imagine the much anticipated comeback if he does take a good month off or so. Also Tom, please... Don't think this world is better off without you...

I think he probably wants to feel better by leaving the world. Depression can cause you to think everyone is better off without you but in suicide you just want all the 🧠 shit to STOP. I hope that man gets the help he deserves. Mental illness/ depression is one of the worst cards you can draw. I think alot of mental illness has to do with what our world is turning into. We spend all our time working so we can consume to make the few richer. Someone who makes money doing what they love are blessed as we are at work 90% of the time. Just my opinion that no one asked for.

@@jenocide632 On his last 2 albums, Us Against the World, 7 of 19 are political/controversial. On No Guts No Glory, 5 of 16 are political or controversial. So about 34%. On As Far As The Stars, the album he did with Brandon and Nova, 0% are political.

Pressure is on for him to sign to a label, or conform to pop trends so they can take away his independence & creativity making music, but he knows they wanna make his music lighter, like pop-music. They wanna see him as a pop-artist, which would pop his current bubble of increased fame/success.

Explanation on how Tom PROBABLY did the head balloon was that he recorded him on the couch put a green screen I front of the camera put that recording and had him put a hole in it so he could poke his head through or he put green fabric or something on a ballon and just had his head on the green so it would pick it up so he could edit it

I felt this! I feel all his songs, but I feel this one deeply. In my own mental health journey, one of the things that helped me was to write out my pain, so I didn't keep holding it. I am hoping this is #TomMacDonald's way of getting his pain out. We are all the same underneath, like he said in #Castles. Money, fame, accomplishments don't make us happy. Peace is within. Tom , store your treasures in heaven. The paradox of fame is when you’re starting out broke, you’re hungry for it and once you achieve fame you reminisce of the days when no one knew you. I hear celebs say this all the time. So store your treasures in God’s kingdom because the things of this world may seem to produce happiness but in reality they don’t. His best HOOK hands down.. Mental health is important ppl, talking to somebody at least once a month is way healthier than numbing the pain with drugs, alcohol, cigs, etc... We are suppose to feel emotions thats what makes us human.. Remember that.

Living in large cities during Covid has been especially stressful. You feel trapped. We finally left Philly for a free state because lockdowns suck your soul. I’m sure LA feels the same.
