When an electronic device is running on battery, it's important to know what parts of the circuit draw the most current. Also, IoT devices can often go from drawing practically no current to waking up and becoming much more active. Profiling is a process where you look at sections of code or interactions with hardware to see how much power each requires. In this video, James shows you four tools (and their tradeoffs) for profiling IoT or Edge Machine Learning devices.
You'll also learn whether it makes more sense for you to use a Digital Multimeter (DMM), Power Supply with history graphs, an oscilloscope with a current probe, or a source measurement device for this process bit.ly/3mKHvAu
