We cancelled our Tofino plans when we saw the storm forecast that dumped wet snow on you. Three weeks later we made the trip and had a wonderful time! Amazed at sightings of grey whales, humpbacks, and sea otters on a boat trip with the Whale Centre (strongly recommend!). Good luck with your wiper spritzer Amanda ❤

We fishtailed also, coming back from Tofino to Port Alberni in my new Bronco Sport and we are experienced drivers too. My husband grew up in Ukee and knows that road like the back of his hand and it still happened. I'm glad you kept your cool and made it safely where you were going!

Maybe consider getting yourself some Rain-X, It works very well even if your windshield fluid is coming out fine and your wipers are working fine. It's still good to put on your front windshield. The water just beads right off

I wonder if you could find your wiper part at a salvage yard (aka junk yard, wrecking yard). It was so nice to see you enjoying a nice warm campfire with Frank. Isn't it wonderful to have good wood? I hate messing around with wood that hasn't been dried sufficiently. I know you're busy busy busy now, but I hope things slow down for you once you leave Squamish and hit the road again. We'll be getting into a nice stretch of warm weather again, if the forecast holds up. Happy travels!

Love that forest walk! What a difference from one side of the island to the other! Good that you reported that disabled vehicle. Civic engagement has been at a low of late. Glad that you didn't spin out in that slushy mess. It's wild that u met a subscriber and spotted Chrome...although, his rig would be hard to miss. Lovely to see Frankaliscious out and about and enjoying the beach, walks, and sticks, although let's be "frank", they are logs, so by virtue of association, Frankaliscious is a logger! Can u say plaid bandana?! Lol Heater core...ugh! Oh well, if it needs to be done, well, then it needs to be done. Lots of love to you both from Ontario🫶🫶

I’m sure you’ve already sorted out your washer fluid part since this is almost a month ago but if ever in a sticky situation like this, you may be able to swap the passenger side one to the drivers side. That would get you through in a bind. Love the video. Beautiful scenery. Heading out there in May and I cannot wait.

Just an idea! I wonder about getting some tubing that matches, connect them. Now, because it is long, you can, gently, zip tie it all the way up the wiper arm. The washer fluid will now come out of the tube near the top of your windshield wiper and windshield, allowing fluid to flow on the windshield and wiper. This will allow you to be able to wash your windshield as you drive. This may work until you are able to find the wiper fluid nozzle piece you need. Just an idea! Someone else commented on checking out junk yards. They are an excellent source for hard to find parts. Chrome is starting a business to help people, like yourself, find parts and find cool camping gadgets. Might be worth getting in contact with Chrome!

Thanks for taking us on your walk through the forest. We have a lot of boardwalk paths in our nature preserves and parks down here in Florida too. Not only are they protective of the ground and plants -- they make the experience accessible to less mobile people. Makes it less likely you will encounter snakes or gators, too. ... What crappy weather you encountered. I'm glad you made that call. Nice to know you and Frank are ok.

It’s great that you called emergency services for the vehicle that had landed in the ditch. Good on you. I hope they were okay! I’ve never driven in snow, ever, so I’d be absolutely clueless about it. At this point, I don’t want to, because it looks really scary. I’m glad you had the knowledge and calm to get out of your fishtailing situation so you didn’t end up like the vehicle you called emergency services for. Scary!!

I have used a squirt bottle as supplement to wipers, i had the sake difficulty find that spray nozzele after fell aprtvafter being glued for many years(1992 Mazda)

when my old van wipers would act up i had a bottle of water i kept handy and just rolled the window down a bit and threw water on the window. it works in a pinch.

O man. When we had the winter storm my sprayer got disconnected. I fixed it. But my passenger side one doesn't work 😂. And i totally agree with you on the snow. Hence those out of towners got in trouble. Its too slick. It freake me out when its in lower. Mainland. Theres too many who have never driven in it. Safe travels. Years ago I had a 1980 Dodge Van that I disconnected the line from the wiper and aimed it up onto the windshield in the center of the passenger side windshield . It worked
