That's awesome to hear Jacob, what was your first purchase? I just got back into the hobby March of last year. I was all about nitro, but my health condition doesn't allow me to run it. Sold those and got back in with electric. Loving it with the family and friends when they come over!

You did an excellent and honest review The body of the car is beautiful. Back in the 50's they had drum brakes. I have friends that really like this chassis. I don't own one yet. If you wonder about durability I encourage you to go to the UKposts channel called RC-TNT. He's from Australia. He and a friend took their Fazers to a track and ran them hard in the rain. One had the Challenger body and one had the El Camino. They jumped them. I was blown away. The cars were soaked and never stopped running and nothing broke. Kyosho should use it for promoting this chassis. I think this would be a great car for a spec class or may be a summer camp program. The body is so great I would hate to tear it up. They have so many cool bodies for this chassis. This series is kind of hidden gem. Keep up the good work.

Such a beautiful body, but for the body posts, about time they stopped using them and come up with a hidden body mount system, I think most companies should be doing so also, as it is not hard to do so.

Kyosho use very good quality plastics, the arms etc are pretty tough as well. Beautiful looking body for sure.

I have the Kyosho Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R on the Fazer Mk2 chassis. I got a 24.2 mph top speed(7.4v Lipo) out of the box with my Bad Elf GPS. Scale looks are awesome. The only issue I had was the tires rubbing the front fender under tight steering.

Very nice car! If possible, I would like to see some of the buggies and truggys from kyosho with comparisons to TA, Tekno, Losi, etc. Along with running them together out at Indy with your kids. Really Sounds like a fun day.

Kyosho is just killing it with these Fazers! They continue to release a whole range of bodies including hot rods, modern sports cars, even a Tundra body that is totally bad ass! As sexy and great looking as this kit is, these Fazers can take a pretty good beating, as well. People are building speed cars out of these (Kaniz RC makes a heavy duty shaft that is a must have for these) so, "drive it like you stole it"!

There other Fazzer bodies are awesome also. Yes the 14 turn motor is a good one for a can motor. 57 Chevy is beautiful.

I own the 70 Chevelle and it also looks stunning. Would like to see a clipless system to bring it up to date. The Fazer Mk2 is an excellent on road platform and it is extremely reliable. Nothing broken in 143.5 hours of driving on 2S. The Tundra, Skyline and 240Z are also great models. Love the colour of the '57, a genuine GM colour back in the day.

Kyosho make really good stuff. Get an OG Ultima or their latest retro buggy, the Dirt somethingorother. It's a re-bodied RB5 but that isn't a bad thing.

It’s pronounced Bel Air.. the Bel Air was the highest trim level, and the first Chevy to have rodchester mechanical fuel injection. They had 4 wheel drums.. I love that they did the scale corvette rallye wheels with the spinners.. there were 150(2 &4 door post cars with minimal trim) 210 (2&4 door with fancier trim, and had door posts) then the Bel Air (2&4 door, no door posts and all the fancy trim), and then a 150 2 door panel wagon and then the sought after nomad which was a 2 door coupe wagon.. hope you learned a bit about the tri5 chevys

the Bel-Air (Bell-Air), had drum brakes all around. but a very typical upgrade for those cars is disc brakes all around.

The 1957 Bel-Air had all brum brakes, but if you paid extra you could get front disc brakes, also from the factory it did not come with seat belts.

I have the old school Skyline 2000 GT-R rtr on this chassis... as well as a FZ02 Chasssis kit that is kinda set up for onroad , the chassis comes with a few nice upgrades. The Fazer cars are a great affordable platform, and all of the bodies theyve been doing look sweet. I would love a few more, like this 57 Chevy, the 66 chevy pickup, maybe a Camaro or Chevelle, and the Datsun Z car... waiting in hopes of them dping a Nova... If you have any onroad or parking lot racing in your area, you should totally get a beater body and let this car rip... Maybe do a comparison and show how you think these could do alongside the 4tec cars and other tub chassis cars like a TT02.... I've been trying to drum up interest for a "sport touring" class, plastic tub chassis, shaft drive cars...an affordable and fun option to get into racing that would leave the tinkering fairly open for people to work on their cars and with a HUGE selection of bodies to resemble just about any kind of cars ... Another video you hould do, a video on kne of the Kyosho Legendary series rerelease kits... Cheers...

Great car and platform for on road racing. The weakest thing is the center drive shaft makes nosie after awhile need aluminum. We run brushless everything holds up when it comes to parts breaking when going 45mph or faster and crashing in racing. Have fun with it you will enjoy it.

The disc brakes/hubs are for a different offset with the wheels. They are wider than stock pokes the wheels out. All fazer cars comes with bigger hubs to extend the stance.

Great videos, those disc brakes are wheel spacers to give it a wider stance. I have the 1970 chevelle, and its pretty much a shelf queen, lol.

The 57 had drum brakes. The emblems on the front fenders display the Corvette Fuel Injected V8 option. The wheels on the RC are incorrect.

Mark the Fazer is an level entry on roader. Thats why even the GP models didn't come with any adjustments to the camber etc. The noise is the centre drive shaft, which Kyosho have bought out an ally tube like in the Tamiya TT series. And its why the speed controller is basic AF. If you put some time, money and patience into them, they can be a half decent chassis.

Awe I got the 69 el Camino, 69 camaro, and my favorite the 67 gto. They're great. I didn't like the plastic pinion gear it has. But I went brushless on them all. So problem solved haha
