@@vignitres It's neither kind nor unkind. I'm just stating facts. It's a single guy, releasing a demo? That is literally going to be unplayable. You will go in the demo, look around for literally 2 minutes, and then quit playing because there is nothing to do. Nor you, nor I, nor Garbaj will be impressed. That's just a fact, therefore there is nothing to feel excited about. Interested? Sure, maybe a little. But that's also going to be very short-lived.

Saying ‘alpha build’ would be a more appropriate word choice than ‘demo’ imo. Demos are typically really similar (if not, the same) to the finished product of a game but severely limited (time limit, tutorial, etc.)

I can't stress enough that WE CAN WAIT. Even tripleA titles are doomed to fail if there too hasty. If you have a following, they WILL wait. Just focus on making your game the best it can be. We can wait another year or even more.

Pretty sure the majority of people would prefer a singleplayer demo to test out what you've been doing or maybe put in their own work to contribute to yours (via mods etc). Also I think it's good as a solo game developer to take a break from new features and refine everything so that it all fits together in a single game, unless you'll end up with hundreds of small parts that need ages to be connected together. AK with stock > AK without stock
