I am a cis gender male and identify as male. Straight and I feel so happy for her. Not worried about it at all, and I feel so much empathy for the stigma attached and the unhappiness she must have felt her whole life. The world needs to worry about important things and not how other people live their lives.. The best thing to learn as soon as possible as a human is to not give a fuck.. If people are going to be disrespectful toward you for no reason other than whats on the outside then they TRULY aren't worth your time or worth worrying about... Have pity on these ignorant people and hope they are able to change. Be kind to even the crappiest people and they wont be able to fuck with you..

I'm a Backwoods, hetero cis-gender male. I believe in many core values, morals and standards. I believe guns should be big, steak should be pink and beer should be Coors... but above all else, everyone should be themselves FULLY, and do whatever it takes to be happy doing so. i by no means want to take the focus away from kris, but i want to bring attention to what anthony is doing as an interviewer that few interviewers do: he lets the person he's interviewing have control over their story. we can even see the times anthony says things like "we can cut this out if you'd like" or how he said kris could retake her doing her voice if she wanted. i'm positive this is not all though. there are questions and aspects to the situation that anthony could be asking that people are definitely curious about, but he doesn't. it's not in the video, because it's not about what the viewers want to hear about this person, it's about what they want to share. i really commend anthony for the level of respect he brings into interviews, a place where so many are hounded and preyed upon and stories are meant to be twisted. anthony respects his guests, and we need more of that in this world where anyone can be thrust into the spotlight, whether they mean to or not. thank you anthony.

Getting the mental health help you need is SO important. Kris’s story about becoming more talkative and present after her transition really resonates with me. I got medicated for my mental health this year and I’ve noticed I’ve been so much more outgoing and not scared in social situations.

I was on a course recently about intersectionality, oppression and abuse. It seems what Anthony creates is more a brave space - the time, consideration and kindness to be brave in front of challenging tough topics, being authentically yourself and hopefully helping each other navigate what can be a tough world.

Love seeing how happy she is! I started watching Mr. Beast videos because my nephew likes watching them. He's 6 and it's become one of our "auntie and nephew" things. Tonight was the first time he saw one where Kris is clearly a woman & I feel like I did not do a great job of answering his questions. So I thought I'd watch this to help me do better in the future. I see so much transphobia online & it's a bit difficult figuring out how to respond to the things he says in innocent confusion that I normally see being said in antagonistic ways, but I'm going to work on it! Aside from that - oof, the stuff about Kris learning to accept herself and be more authentically KRIS, that hit hard for me. I'm cis, but I'm a late-diagnosed autistic person who has spent most of my life masking & trying to survive in a dysfunctional family that tends to think I'm just not trying hard enough. The stuff about people noticing Kris being more present and talking more and being happier... I was getting there, back in college, but then I ended up back on the family farm & I've been here for 10 years. I think I need to start fighting for my own happiness and being authentically myself instead of slogging through this dissociated survival-mode fog I seem to be stuck in.

This drama was amazing in a weird way when it happened. I went from indifferent to ally overnight. Before the backlash of Kris coming out, I truly did not give a single sht about any of the trans stuff. Seeing people react this horribly to someone's choice that would never in a million years affect them personally, just made me realize these folks need support in the storm of extremely unjustified hate.

This video made me sob. Happy tears, and I have never cried happy tears. It makes me beyond happy seeing Kris so happy with herself, I can really see how much happier she has become since transitioning. I’ve never experienced having gender dysphoria or struggling with my identity. I used to think that switching your gender is weird but recently I’ve been trying to understand and put myself in these peoples shoes. This new Kris feels a lot more extroverted and happier than the old one. I can sort of differentiate between someone who’s confused and someone who is comfortable. As a cis male I think about what life would be like if I was forced to live as a woman and it just sounds miserable to me. 😂

Not that there is ever a "right" time to come out, but due to the current political climate and the sheer MAGNITUDE of her audience, the hate was unfortunately inevitable. Despite it all, Kris has been able to push through and live her best life which is just amazing.

Honestly as a straight, cis man, having friends who were gay, trans, or any other people who were part of the queer community actually helped me a lot in my own personal development. There were a lot of things that growing up I was very self-conscious about. I've always liked dressing up for example, but my dad would make fun of me for it, and just in general I never felt like I matched up to the expectations put on masculinity. Growing up around hippies helped, because they will generally accept everyone if they're not assholes, but there was still a feeling off social pressure from the rest of the world. Once I made queer friends, seeing them assert their identities when faced with much stronger backlash, in many cases seeing their identities actively degraded by society at large, it really put my own issues into perspective. They were out there being themselves in spite of society, and in comparison my small issues with my own identity really didn't seem so big. It made me a lot more comfortable in being who I am, even if it isn't typically masculine all the time, and I have zero issues with browsing the women's section at thrift stores for some properly cute clothing. I have lots of love for queer people, and I'm proud of Kris for coming out

I never thought about the fact that maybe my online name was what I really felt like being called, it just felt right. I’ve thought about the idea of me being trans for a long time, like 4 years now. I did a lot of stuff when I was a little that could be seen as feminine, and it made me happy. I don’t know that I am a woman, but I don’t feel like a guy. Im afraid to talk about it with those I’m close, to so maybe therapy will help. Kris, you are very inspirational, and you have a lovely feminine voice. It really did sound amazing. Thanks for your message and your story, I hope to grow and become myself as I enter adulthood and start college. Thank you.

Me too mate, me too. I reached to the conclusion that maybe one day I'll transition, but I ended with the conclusion that it doesn't matter my gender if it's he or she for now. I have gender disphoria sometimes, but not enaugh to make me make that decision just yet, so if you think in transitioning, be sure and go for it and eat the world, girl!

Kris's story is really a perfect highlight of how damaging going *against* trans people and their identities can actually be. People like to pretend that trans folks are 'mentally ill' and 'need help', but it's clear the mental toll being told she was *wrong* was insufferable. Throwing out all her clothes, forcing herself to go to conversion therapy, thinking she was wrong for just wanting to be herself; it breaks my heart to hear, and it's unfortunately the plight of tens of thousands of trans people around the globe. She seems to be so much happier now, and I'm sure being on such a popular channel with so many people around the world watching will have a huge impact, and hopefully give other trans people the confidence to be themselves,!!

But he isn't a women and never will be. His true self is Chris Tyson, because no matter how many surgeries you get or how you dress you can't change your natural bodily functions or chromosomes. He is a man. That's why the caring thing to do is to help him feel comfortable in his actual skin, and be his actual true self

@@thehahvokexperience Read a gender dysphoria study from any notable health organization. The only way to lessen gender dysphoria (ie the depression/sadness/confusion that trans people experience) is to transition. Trans people feel an alienating sense of discomfort in the bodies that they were born with, that is the whole point. Limiting their ability to transition is detrimental and helps nothing. That is not at all the "caring" thing to do. It is not caring to gaslight someone about their feelings, not to mention if they've been struggling with these feelings their *entire* life. Call her the wrong pronouns all you want, I can guarantee you it helps nothing.

The fact that Kris looks so genuinely happy, has me in tears. It sounds so silly since I don’t even know her but man. I am so so happy for her. I actually ADORED the vocal segment. Kris looked very comfortable when she spoke like that, and I think it is very important for people to know that when people transition, they as people do not change personality wise, but only physically do for comfortability sake, as a genderfluid, thank you so much for having Kris on, Anthony!
