I've never understood cheaters. When they cheat, it's fine, it's like a little adventure, but when their partner potentially cheats, it's a betrayal, worse thing ever as if they hadn't been cheating in the first place. I couldn't even IMAGINE doing what this "wife" did to her husband. My husband is employed but has no hours because his company is having issues (startup in health industry). It has never occurred to me to hold anything over his head, think less of him or look for someone else. We will get through this together. Marriage means supporting each other through everything or at the least, leaving if you can no longer be trusted to stay honest and faithful to the boundaries of your relationship.

When married, there cannot be any assumption of "privacy". You two are now 'one' and you owe each other full transparency. There is no justification for hiding things from your partner. Your partner deserves to know, in so many ways. If you do hide things from your partner, it will eventually come to light, trust will be gone (you will reap what you sow) and your relationship will be over. Period. Trust is the one absolutely essential ingredient to a happy, successful relationship. If you can't live with this concept, then don't get into a committed relationship such as marriage. It will not go well if you hide things from your partner.

I don't think that would work in any EU country since installing any sort of message tracking app is quite illegal and would put you into trouble for doing so, making it even harder to lose the case even with rock hard evidence, as that might be countered by the other side of the case as "serious privacy breach".
