I actually saw Joel Haver once in real life. Several months back I was stood behind him in a 7/11 in Massachusetts. He was at the front of the que so I didn't really have a chance to speak to him but I was close enough to hear him berate the shopkeeper for several minutes over a lack of 'quality organs and fine silk' in the store (I don't know what this meant, I'm not from the area so I figured it was just a local thing). Once the shopkeeper began sobbing uncontrollably he just stopped talking mid sentence, turned around, wiped some black substance off of his face and onto my jacket and wished the entire que a 'glandular evening' whilst winking and then left. 10/10 my favourite instance of meeting an internet celebrity.

This has to be one of my favorites. A personification of his fears and the realization he doesn’t have any policies who could totally turn out to be the villain later or not exist at all. This is one of the most indie movie things I have seen in a long time. Wow . Amazing. Right up there with the “lost in the woods finding a friend internet one.”
