hello, im gonna add a comment where the Chinese Tiktok (Douyin) made an analysis about this MV, its a bit disturbing as they go on but here's what they found. DISCLAIMER: Note that all of these are not analyses by me, I'm just translating what I saw from Douyin to here to let people have further discussion about this MV. on the start, wonhee is calling with a mysterious person on 0:04 , the whole room was dimmed, even the small sunlight would make the girl happy, this shows the girls are still a child on 0:07 , where wonhee said "I want you". If it's a girl's matter, she should at least smile. This expression is obviously displeased or even resentful. She seems to have learned something (combined with her phone call with the mysterious person earlier, she might be the first girl to realize the problem) on 0:08 , The dim and narrow space had white walls and a red floor. If this were to be considered a girl's room, it would be somewhat absurd. This kind of space resembles more of a hotel or an SM playroom in terms of color scheme (50 shades of grey types). Dreamcore doesn't have such things on 2:20 , Since it's in the style of dreamcore girls, why is the background a pillow? These girls don't live together, nor have they ever had a pillow fight scene. This isn't consistent with Dreamcore either. Plastic bags haven't appeared before. Does the plastic bag imply condoms? on 9:51 , There's not much to say about this; this looks like it resembles losing one's virginity on 10:00 , Can't see the ceiling clearly, feeling dazed, no matter how you look at it, this resembles post-coitus. Ribbons around the bed? Ribbons haven't appeared on their clothes, so what are the ribbons for? to tie them.

Like the flower on the left to the unicorn at 7:07, the plastic bags at 8:34 are resembling cond-ms, the butterfly on the ball at 9:33 represents ‘pedophilia’ (you can search that butterfly), and the wall V representing virgin, together with the bed-shaking sound during the bridge (9:35-9:39) and they breaking the V ‘virgin’ wall. The girls were a bit, I’d say frightened when the reacted to their mv. Idk, there’re too much coincidence isn’t it? It’s too strange 🙁

just wanna comment, idk if other people pointed out this but for me, the MV have this darker color grading instead of a bright and colorful to be a dreamcore, if you have watched the MV of the song, from @1:54 to @2:16, it is so giveaway if you think about it and its very creepy for me to have much more meaning than just a cute and dreamy song for such a rookie group. i think the lyrics itself is implying about "sex" and "losing virginity" (correct me if im wrong), too much of a coincidence i must say, the lyrics are like this, "no push and pull, Gonna R.U.N to you, Our chemistry, Yeah I'm in too deep now, No regrets, gonna zero in on you", like, if you think about it in a way adults interpret it especially for westerns, i think you know what it means, especially when you are matching it with the lyrics to the video like in a hotel and plastic bags floating around, like if you want dreamy concept just add bubbles, balloons, feathers, etc. @2:04 of the MV, there is a ball rolling into a very narrow place ahead, that the girls keep chasing the ball like they are being tricked and cornered, and at the end of the narrow place, it is shaped like "V" like an anatomy of a girl, and you can hear a squeaking or creaking sound like it's a bed, and after that they pose or gesture like crying i think? and after that scene, it then punched through a wall, it's like implying for "losing virginity" then the creepy scene at @2:12, i think it shows they had something called post-coitus. i honestly like the song very much and i played it on repeat in the past few days but after i have watched the MV and did a little reading on other commenting posts, i found out that you can see many symbolism to it, instead of just having a cute and innocent concept for these poor young girls to have a dreamcore MV they just keep getting away with it. now its like having the same way of guilt listening to this song, just like the MV and lyrics from Cookie by NEWJEANS just wanna add that sorry if its exaggerated to have these ideas towards the song and sorry for the bad grammar, you can correct me if im wrong.

This kinda random artsy dreamy concept reminded me of NewJeans' Cool With You MV. Even the energy in their dance reminded me of NewJeans' dynamic, energetic, and youthful way of dancing and moving across the screen. The music though is pretty unique (at least for me, based on the ggs I'm currently watching and supporting) and catchy. It isn't a show off piece where it is powerful and has that desire to stand out. I could jam to this when I'm just chilling and I will still be impressed by it. Among the 5th gen groups, I would look forward to this group along with KISS OF LIFE and BABYMONSTER. I just hope though that they would have a standout theme of their own and would not just be another NewJeans, because for me, NJ is still pretty new, and I fear they might just rush to make stuff for both of them that they would be just almost sister groups.
