its like a mild fish that doesnt have much taste. its more for the texture that you can munch on a boneless fish with tender meat and a crunchy exterior. similar to the portugese style of frying whole fishes

You're absolutely right. We are endowed with reason towards animals and can choose how we act. Ethically, morally and humanly, we are clearly obliged to use our minds and the basics of morals and ethics - even against worms. Why subject an animal to unnecessary suffering? They can feel like we do. Why inflict pain on them when we could do it more gently, more respectfully and better?
