I'm gobsmacked by the entitlement of the Karen in the first story. The OP definitely should've pressed charges for harassment and assault. The cherry on top is the terrible mom telling her kid to attack and try to kill the cat. That kid is going to grow up to be a violent sociopath just like his mom.

As a mom I would try to do what I could to make sure my child didn’t have to stand. So you know what I would do? Sit on the ground and let her sit on my lap. Problem solved. I’d probably already be sitting on the ground anyways so I could watch the cat ❤

I was disgusted in the first story after hearing that the kid was told to basically murder OP's cat, that entire sentence made my blood boil with fury, You never do something like that. Ever.

The fact that she told her son to try to KILL A CAT sent me into my "wide eyed smile of death" stare. I literally just sat there for the rest of the video with my eyes wide, head tilted to the side and a smile that says "wow i hope you go to hell" plastered on my face

First story: I laughed hysterically when the child said “ mommy but you said to sit on the kitty’s box and crush it as hard as I can.”

That Karen made several mistakes in the first story: 1. Demand the wheelchair of someone who OBVIOUSLY needs it. 2. Call the kitty feral and illegal. 3. Send her hellspawn onto the OP's lap, injuring her ankle more. 4. Sending her hellspawn AGAIN, but now to SIT ON TOP OF the cat in the hopes of SQUISHING HIM! Injuring the OP's ankle EVEN MORE. Karen was right about that Jesus has a special place for OP, namely far away from the hell Karen will definitely get sent to. She's a terrible person and a worse mother. Her child has my sympathies as it's obvious he doesn't understand that what his mother was telling him to do is wrong. EDIT: Wow this blew up more than I expected, thank you all! Oh hell no, extending injury time, physical assault, verbal assault, harming someone, attempted animal abuse, and extending injury time? I have some things to say about the first story, firstly IMO the original poster handled this incredibly calmly. Secondly, for a little bit of context, my mother suffers from multiple sclerosis and requires both a manual and electric wheelchair to get around (depending on the situation) along with carers to come over and help take care of her. If someone asked my mom to get out of her wheelchair so their kid could have somewhere to sit down. I would’ve handled this very differently, let’s just say that there would’ve been a lot of screaming and threats of physical violence. I’m not normally a violent person I just really care for my mom’s health and safety

Not only did the karen in the first story tell her son to try to hurt them, and then try to deny it, but even her son unknowingly confirmed it

Story 1: I am flabbergasted that human beings like this actually exist, that woman could have maybe had her child sit on her lap and this whole mess could be avoided. Also yes a wheelchair is provided for people who need it, but not for people who are simply tired, also the wheelchair belongs to the OP and no one has the right to say otherwise now thanks to you OP will have to spend more time with the boot and you had to spend more money making sure your and your son got home on time. Story 1: I feel bad for the op when she was forced to pull a fast one to protect her cat. The age range they described, while aren't the heaviest, are definitely not light, especially with a busted foot. Kudos for protecting her kitty. Fur babies are precious.

Coming here after 7 months, I remember this video kept popping up in my recommendation for 4 days, I finally clicked on it and played Iron sight with my younger siblings on my birthday. And oh boy, I fell in love with these videos. This is my first video I ever watched in Am I the Jerk? channel. Definitely my favorite as well. You guys are underrated as heck!

I'm a 20 year old who tends to question humanity for every single Reddit story about a Karen I read, but now... *this?!?!* I seriously want to rip my ears off reading this story. Thankfully in my country nobody acts entitled, but as a pareplegic I am unbelievably offended by this very story (I know, she was only injured). If I was OP, I would immediately call the police. In the first story, I don’t think it’s the kid’s fault. As you said, he’s very young and he doesn’t know much, it’s not like he’s doing things for no reason. His mother is in the fault for teaching a small child to disrespect people. The kid says “but mom, you told me to sit on the cat!” And “you said she’d let me sit on her lap!” Basically showing that his mom is just telling him things.

This is one of the first karen's I've seen on these UKposts videos that encourage their kid to be annoying too. Even better when they are people who are being selfish and entitled for no good reason other than to just be a jerk. Okay, this is really weird. I actually had a dream last night about a Karen trying to steal a wheelchair from a disabled person. The dream wasn't about me, but it still felt like it was my POV, so I'll just say me. I was at a convention doing a show with some friends, and Karen cut the power to our mics and I could see her staring daggers at me and looking smug. I'm sitting in a chair on the stage, but when my friends go to look for my wheelchair after the show is called off, they can't find it. A staff member suspected it might have been her and started keeping an eye on her, when they saw her son playing around in my chair. She claimed it was because I wouldn't let her kid sit in my chair, and that I'd also delivered groceries to her house and didn't put them away for her, so she thought I deserved to have my show ruined, and for my wheelchair to go to her precious kid. I don't know why I had this dream, maybe because of all the reddit stories I've been listening to lately. I'm not even IN a wheelchair. I do have some deteriorating mobility issues, but it's not bad enough yet that I have to be in a wheelchair all the time.

To story one:As someone who already broke his leg i can totally understand the pain of something hitting or bonking onto your leg and that hurts really bad😅

The fact that the karen in the 1st one has the AUDACITY to try to make the person their harrassing seem like the bad guy after several people have seen anyway is horrible. And the fact that they told the kid to SQUASH THE CAT is horrible, if there is a hell, if she wouldn't go to hell for the 1st things she's done, then she hell of sure would've for that.
