@@jleedw Yes I did and they are awesome! Keanu is great with violent action stuff, don't get me wrong. But even when he's playing a pissed-off character like John Wick, his style is more a kind of ice cool type of violence, like James Bond or Jason Bourne for exemple. Wolverine on the other hand is more animal rage type. Think Yuri Boyka (Scott Adkins) in Undisputed 2-3-4 for instance. Actually, you know what? Scott Adkins would make a great Wolverine if he channels his inner Boyka for the role!

Keanu is just way too mellow. Which is what makes him cool. There are guys that are mellow and control their tempers well. Others that can play off the rails

For how long though? As they said, Keanu, though we joke that he is immortal, is older than Huge Jackedman, and as he gets into his 60s, it will be really damn hard to keep pace with the action required of Wolverine (Or John Wick for that matter). Besides which, there were people who were...annoyed that Jackman was 6'3", playing a character "designed" to be...5'3". Reeves is shorter than Jackman, but only by 2 inches. So, yeah. Would rather see a younger Wolverine who can carry the character for another 15-20 years, than just get one or two movies of Reeves as Wolverine before they have to recast him.

Yeah john wick actually has a very similar personality to Keanu (except probably more serious) which is far from what wolverine is, though Jackman filled the role quite well I believe his portrayal of Wolverine isn't perfect either, I mean the original wolverine has a bit colder personality, meanwhile Jackman really struggles keping his charisma locked, though I do admit that in the last movie it was very well done... that one was a masterpiece.

@Joe Dirt To be entirely fair they mostly just portrayed Wolverine with the X-men and he very much so alters his approach and how violent he is based on who he is around. If he's in Madripoor he's a whole new kind of beast as opposed to how he is around Jubilee or the X-men or the Avengers. It wasn't Jackman who was too laid back he played it perfectly but the writers WROTE Wolverine as less violent and gave Jackman less chances to showcase that side of Wolverine so that's not at all on Jackman. Jackman showed all the sides of Wolverine perfectly to me. The sensitive side, the violent side, the animal side, the loner side. He touched on all of them and did it well. Best of all in Logan but no one is arguing against that one.

Utopia XV I’d argue none of them are in Keanu’s league. I honestly can’t name a movie Ruffalo has been in. I like Brolin, he also got to play the ultimate villain. Hard to say no to that even with all the CGI. Bradley Cooper not on Keanu level either. Hangover and Lady Gaga movie. Bit part in Wedding Crashers. Played in Limitless. Keanu is the lead of 3 franchises. Those other actors aren’t that.

The guy who they used as the villian in Logan would have actually made a good Gambit. He was really good in that role. Actually think it should have been him vs Wolverine as final battle. His death wasn't the payoff I wanted,you really wanted to see Wolverine or at least Laura kill him.
