When I was 18 years old, my boyfriend (who is now my husband) was getting ready to deploy overseas. The night before he left, he took me into his living room then put on this song and danced me around his living room while he sang it to. Many, many years later, the best man at our wedding sang that song for our bride and groom dance. It's been 30 years and two kids and that is still one of my favorite memories. ...................................... I was on an Uber in Nairobi 🇰🇪 some weeks ago, a drizzling morning and slow traffic. The cabin was kinda silent, so the driver put on his playlist, and this came first. I had heard this song so many times with my parents, but at that moment I realised I was listening and relating to the lyrics for the first time. The driver looked equally in his thoughts. Nonetheless, we continued without talking much.
