3 роки томуFlorida Powerboat Club continued its annual November tradition with the 28th Annual Key West Poker Run, taking 160 powerboat teams from Miami to Key West on a five-day escape to paradise. Episode 1 highlights the Wednesday departure group, as a handful of teams navigated towards Key Largo, knowing that Hurricane ETA was still looming in the Gulf waters near the Florida Keys!

LOVE IT! Top notch as always, Stu! Just got back from our 4 month stay in Islamorada, Lower Matecumbe Key. ETA make exact landfall on us & knocked out the internet for a few days. We cruised up to Key Largo for some drinks at the Caribbean Club and to my surprise I was thrilled to see everyone cruising in to Big Chill and tying up! Some folks were putting in at the Caribbean Club slip as well and I got some photos & video. It turned out to be a pretty / clear day then. I was pretty sure it was FPC so it was very special to me to be there and witness you guys first hand as an avid admirer. Much Love from Canyon Lake, TX!

Brentley, yes we just got back from Key Largo....we had 110 boats down there for the Miami Boat Show Poker Run ( minus the Miami boat show) but we had a great time...Glad you saw some of the powerboat action, hope you enjoyed the Keys!

I flew down to Palm Beach to stay with a friend and play some golf. However, the real reason was to get to Haulover Inlet and capture stills and live imagery of your departure. Standing on the beach at 0800, I had a feeling that the winds would be too strong to take on the inlet. The closer tthat launch time came, the more I was sure that you folks would head down the bay side. So standing next to my video rig, my heart sunk as the boats did exactly what I expected. Safety first is the only way to go. Maybe next year.

@@FLpowerboatClub yes sir, those are some big machine's there. Biggest I've ever seen. Moving those boats around like toy's, very expensive big boy toy's! Definitely cool , and most likely more expensive than most of the boats. Worth every cent though.

Ah good sir, this deserves a let me Google that for you. Quoted per Google "Good Question: Why Are Most Boat Steering Wheels On The Right Side? ... According to Rob Parmentier with Larson Boats, the propellers on single engines go counter clockwise, so when there is torque on the propeller, the boat can lean left. Boat designers wanted a way to keep more weight on the right side."

Joe, go ahead cancel please!!!!....stop being such a critic...I'm just doing my job not claiming to be perfect. Do you know how hard it is to sit in studio for hours and comb through 20 hours of video with my editor...I do this for the pure love of the sport and encouragement from viewers. Last month my check from UKposts was $ 557 but I spent dozens of hours in production and thousands of dollars creating the content. Pleaasse just be nice !!! or click off the channel - I cant take BS from people who don't have a clue how hard we work to create these shows!
