Also, later in the night I heard movement up the ridge from my camp and caught eyeshine from a large figure that quickly ducked behind a boulder. If you notice anything in the woods that I may have missed, let me know in the comments.

It's not too bad really. I enjoy the alone time. I'm not against having company along, but I'm not going to pass up the chance to get out to the woods when the opportunity arises. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!

The live stream was fun, but I don't have signal in this location, too remote. Next time I camp where I did the live stream I'll give it another try.

Love how honest dave is. Other youtubers would have swore it was a sasquatch and that he was having dna sent away. It may not have been a sasquatch, but it may have 👍

It could have been a Sasquatch. I know firsthand that they visit that area, but I only saw a glimpse of something ducking behind a boulder. Could have been a Sasquatch or a bear. Being there alone, I wasn't going chasing after it in the dark. That wouldn't have been very smart. Thanks for the comment Zach👍👣

Deer usually stick around longer because they are curious. I don’t know about black bear, as they are few and far between in my area, so far. I would think they act similar.

Wow Dave, great footage did ya get any sleep that night. I watched this video 3 times 1 on 25 looks like eye shine a couple times but not sure it could be the light shining off the leaves. You be careful going up there by your self and watch your 6. When Cornell comes back y'all put out a recorder in camp. Lol. 👣👣

I've gone over that spot and it does look like some quick eye shine. Hard to tell for sure. When Cornell comes back down we will surely put out some audio recorders. Last time he picked up some interesting stuff.

Hiya, awesome video but I wish it would have been longer, hey at the end, when you were showing where you saw the eye shine, there was eye shine that went really fast from high down to low, just on the right side of the tree where there were two trees close to each other. You were shining the light between the two trees. I hope you have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 😺🐟 out!

Thanks, I will look for that. Do you know the exact time where that is? If it is eye shine then that would mean whatever it was didn't leave like I thought it had.

Great video, I heard that thud as well, could've been anything, but always good to be alert. It might be worth the investment to buy a basic thermal camera for situations like this, where you hear something nearby but can't see what it is or where it went. Would even be able to see its foot prints

Very interesting outing. I would love to go out there with you some time. It's been so long since I've been in the mountains.. I miss it. It holds alot of familial history and I've been too far for too long. Q- do you carry protection when your out in the woods? Just curious, you don't have to answer if you feel it's and op. sec. Question. You need to stay safe out there Dave. Be careful.

They will if there is food that they can get into. That definitely wasn't a bear that walked up to your tent. A bear would have made a beeline for our food we had left out.
