I'm just going to say it: I'm from Texas (shout out to anyone else from here, especially if you're from around Fort Worth) and I voted last week for Beto O'Rourke for the Senate (I hope he beats Ted Cruz), Lupe Valdez for Governor (I hope she beats Greg Abbott), and Justin Nelson for State Attorneys General (I hope he beats Ken Paxton). I also have to admit, even before watching this episode, I have seen and heard many people that I know around where I live and work who are tired of the Republicans running our state right now, but I was unaware of some of this information John shared about Ken Paxton, so I hope that this influences some more conservative independent voters here to vote Democrat in this years' midterms.
