I do enjoy your videos and hope to learn your beautiful language. Greetings from Poland! One tequest tho. Is it possible to color the words in both languages? When you color sth in Greek it would help if the English were also in the same color. Helps memorize without learning. I would also benefit more if you repeated the pronunciation of a sentence after all the explanations to this sentence. Double and spaced hearing would seed the words in my memory. On the phone I it hard to rewind short stuff. Thank you for All your great effort. As a teacher I appreciate a great teacher, a lot as a learner I do even more ❤️

Hello ... in the playlist can you please put the lessons in order ... because in the playlist they play automatically and the videos are out of order... also can you organize the videos so we can learn progressively from easier to more difficult - thank you

Hello and thanks for watching! Until now, all of my videos are for beginners. They are grouped in playlists according to subject (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation). I definitely recommend that you watch the pronunciation lessons first, and then continue with grammar and vocabulary at the same time in any order you like. I try to connect all of the videos with links and pop-up cards (top right). I try to keep it simple and let people choose their own order. But since you mentioned it, I will try to put the videos in the Modern Greek lessons playlist (all of my lessons are in there) in some kind of order. Thanks for the feedback!😀

Lina thank you so much for explaining. Very helpful with the story. There are a few words that you pronounce so quickly I cannot understand such as princess and question? Why is yious pronounced you-sss? It's as if the "yi" is dropped and we go automatically to "ous." I am taking time to write it all down and figure out definite and indefinite articles on my reviews.

Hello dear Lina. In 4:03, when you give examples for the nominative case, I think that only the first is actually a nominative, the other three are accusatives. Don't you think so?

"Μια" used to get a "ν" ending in the past but in modern greek is not used much.

Γεια σας, Λίνα. I have one more question. In the following sentence, why do we use 'μία φίλη' instead of 'ένας φίλο'? Έχω μόνο μία φίλη. --I have only one friend.

Καλημέρα. How do you count from 200 to 1000?
@linaaaap1
@linaaaap1 6 років тому
Hi! I will make a video about this, but it's very easy: name of hundred + regular counting from 1-99 (hundreds: διακόσια - 200, τριακόσια-300, τετρακόσια-400, πεντακόσια-500, εξακόσια-600, εφτακόσια-700, οχτακόσια-800, εννιακόσια-900. Χίλια - 1000). E.g. : 589 - πεντακόσια ογδόντα εννέα. From 1000 to 1999 it's the same thing.!

Γεια σας, Λίνα. In the following sentence, you use ‘μιαν’ instead of ‘μια’ when the following word ‘ιστορία’ starts with an vowel. I wonder why. Thank you. Πες μας μιαν ιστορία. Tell us a story.
